Tom’s Dim Sum proudly serves the traditional cuisine of Shanghai China. We’re known for Shanghai & Cantonese style dim sum such as our savory soup dumplings, fried buns, Shumai and scallion pancakes, but our entrees are also a fan favorite. We opened Tom’s Dim Sum with the intention of sharing the unmistakable flavors of Jiangzhe (East of China) and Shanghai across the globe, while honoring the legacy of our ancient recipes.

Oh my, I stuffed my tummy on two orders of bee pancakes. Delicious! The beef soup were delicious too.

Awesome spot for dim sum. Just as good as the location in Philly. Super fast service, super cheap, and always leave stuffed. Great place to go with a group of friends for a good lunch and walk around town.

I have been wanting to come here for a long time. Last time I was in media I made the mistake and went to the wrong restaurant and was let down massively. But this restaurant was very welcoming. The staff was amazing and super kind. Very considerate of our needs. My glass was never empty. The portions were great for the food also. The prices also were very low. I went at lunch and two of us were able to eat for under 22 dollars. Thank you again for the great experience. I will be recommending this dim sum and not the other…….

They have 5 star food that’s more than affordable. I’d drive more than an hour to go here. Everything is fantastic and I recommend the dim sum, anything slow cooked meats, and anything that’s a specialty. Whereas many Asian food restaurants have basically the exact same menus, they have unique dishes that I haven’t seen anywhere else. They put a lot of love in thier food. You won’t be disappointed. Did I mention that it’s very affordable too.

Food always hits the spot and service is great! For sure would recommend the dim sum and loved the noodle and chicken dishes too.

I’m originally from Shanghai, so I know what good dim sums are. Overall, Tom’s Dim Sum is pretty solid and authentic. Their soup dumplings are among the best I’ve ever had in the US.

This was our first time at Tom’s Dim Sum, but it won’t be our last. We tried a variety of dumplings and appetizers, and everything was delicious.

We enjoyed a delicious dim sum lunch on a day trip to Media. We sampled all our favorite dumplings, from shrimp har gow to pork buns (char shiu bao) and pork shui mai. Their crab and cheese puffs were light and nicely crunchy. The service was fast and courteous, and the prices were reasonable. We appreciated the photos in their menu which illustrated popular dim sum varieties. They are centrally located on State Street in downtown.
