Stopped to grab breakfast on our way home. My veggie scramble was all one piece I could pick up with my fork with toasted cheese. Biscuit was huge and tasted good. Bacon was overcooked but we like it that way. Food wasn’t terrible but not good enough to come back. Waitress was friendly and food came out in a timely manner.

Drove past here many times over the last couple of years, finally had the opportunity to stop in for breakfast. Glad we did. This place is a real gem (in Gem county)…. Super friendly staff, excellent food and as others have commented, the food portions are enormous ! Biggest chicken fried steak I have ever seen. Took up most of the large plate. lots of parking behind the restaurant, about 15 or so tables, very nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will most certainly return.

Our family ordered the Big boy Burger, the French dip sandwich, and biscuits and gravy. All were absolutely fantastic.

All you can eat fish and chips, obviously the oil was so old and burned, they looked dark and greasy, the taste of the oil was disgusting, I wish I never stopped to try this ugly dirty shack, the waitress was nice and helpful but the cooks are performing a terrible job, the clam chowder has the texture of mash potatoes, almost no clams, the coleslaw taste luke old mayonnaise… Overall the food was trash…. Sorry guys you didn’t pass my test.

We had breakfast. I had the biscuits and gravy and I gotta say those were the best I’ve ever had! The biscuits were big and fluffy and the gravy was awesome!! My hubby had an omelet with sausage and sour dough toast. Both were over the moon delicious!!

Great little family owned diner and obviously very popular with the locals. Very nice staff and the owners are great. Food portions are enormous and everything on the menu is available at any time. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs which was very good. The steak nearly covered the entire plate. My wife had the breakfast bowl with the white gravy (they have brown gravy too) and loved it. Be ready to wait for a table on Sunday mornings, but you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Lilly! We will be back.

Horrible service from the older ladies, when we got sat down we weren’t asked about drinks or even given a menu. I had to get up and grab my own menu for my wife and kid. Meanwhile being completely ignored at a table that seemed to have syrup spread all over it without a care we all got glares from every geezer in the room. Don’t go here unless your Christian and 65+

The atmosphere is very welcoming, friendly and patriotic. The staff manage the tables with diligence in graceful, humorous personality. The food… well you better come hungry because at Tom’s Cabin your money goes beyond your expectations with massive portions that will make your mouth water. Don’t leave without getting a slice a of pie!
