Stopped by for lunch and got the Chicken Pad Thai. Wow it was really good. I actually didn’t add any other sauce to the food as I felt like it would take away from the original flavors in the Thai noodles. I’m glad I didn’t. Not too salty and just the perfect taste. Plenty of meat in the noodles.

We ordered the teriyaki beef. The meat had the oddest texture and flavor. Almost powdery. Maybe it’s been frozen too long? The rice was particularly mushy. Neither of us could eat it. The tempura tasted like It was cooked in old oil. Won’t be returning.

The lady was nice. The order was made fast. The place was clean. The food was good. I got the teriyaki chicken bento box and a California roll on the side. The tempura veggies and shrimp were the best part for me. Sooo yummy. It was a good amount of food for very reasonable prices. It was a nice stop.

I am obsessed with Japanese chicken curry. At this location it is very good. There’s 1 other place in Visalia who serves chicken curry at $ price (starts with M) and there they give you chicken bones and terrible service. Here at Tokyo teriyaki bowl it is high quality service, the staff know the menu and the food is freaking delicious!
