Definitely exceeded my expectations both in terms of food and service! If you could handle spicy, ask for their home made spicy paste to go with the seaweed salad. I forgot to take a photo of the beef udon, but it was delicious and they gave me ample amount of beef!

I’ve lived in Alaska for 7 years and went here for the first time ever. I’d honestly say it’s the best sushi in the state. In addition to the sushi being amazing, the rest of the menu items we ordered were 10/10. Sweet and sour chicken and Mongolian beef her perfectly cooked. Even the miso soup was outstanding- I don’t typically like miso either. I could have eaten my families portions too lol!

Took over 20 mins to get drinks that had been ordered. Boyfriends order went to another table then back to kitchen then to our table and was luke warm. And yes we watched its travels. His chicken was not flavorful and was far from fresh.

The food was soooo good! I didn’t think I would be a sushi fan so I ordered a California roll but decided to try actual Sushi off the boat my family ordered and it was incredible! The restaurant was beautiful inside. There was non-sushi food for the kids but even they liked some of it.

The waitress brought the soup, egg rolls and main meal all at once, without bowls, plates or serving utensils. Then she knocked over a water glass, and didn’t hustle to get a towel… she waited for me to clean it up! By the time she figured it out, our food was cold, but that’s OK because it was the worst! Hot and Sour soup that was spicy as hell, but no rice vinegar in it, Sesame Chicken without flavor and Hot Pepper Pork that should’ve been called Jalapeño Pork – again, all the hot, none of the flavor. 3x we’ve tried this place, 3x FAILED. We’re done!

My husband and I waited over 20 minutes to be seated since you are not able to seat yourself. We waited another 20 minutes once we were seated while being ignored from staff. There was only one other table there eating at the time, three hostesses available and not a single person came up to us to take an order. We didn’t even get to order drinks yet. The waiter passed us multiple times and stared at us but did not come up to us.

I’m not sure if it’s a new ownership or what but this place is absolutely amazing and the food was fantastic as was the staff and service. A little spendy for regular visits but definitely worth going to every now and again!
