Just what we needed – on the road, tired and near broke. Found this little diamond in the rough in Scotsboro Alabama – This $6.99 Sesame Chicken dish with fresh veggies on a bed of rice – with the always wonderful yum yum sauce … A rare value that truly fed us both. I honestly have no clue how this place is highly rated. When pulling into the parking lot we should have know to keep driving. The place it run down inside and out. Inside everything was dirty, sticky, and smelled. We ordered chicken teriyaki and the beef hibachi. I took 2 bites of the beef hibachi and throw it in the garbage. The chicken teriyaki was edible, but we did not enjoy it. Yes, it comes with a lot of food, but 80% of that is rice.

I love this place but today I called in my order and the woman said it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. I arrived about 12 minutes and paid at the drive thru. The lady asked me to wait on the other side and they would be out with my order. I waited another 10 minutes then went inside to see what was wrong. I guess they had a lot of orders called in because I waited another 10 minutes before it was ready.

I remembering eating here as a kid with my parents when it was Jack’s. The poor building pretty much looks the same lol. But that doesn’t matter when the food is so good! Huge portions for the price! Best value in town!

Very yummy! The service was quick and menus were outside to place orders. The sweet potato sushi roll was a nice balance of salty & sweet. The sesame chicken seems to be their specialty for only $5.99! The teriyaki bowl was good, but wasn’t sweet like teriyaki usually is. Unfortunately, no dine-in option yet. There is a drive through window to pick up orders.

Sadly the food has taken a dive since the last time I’ve ate here. I couldn’t even finish my plate. The noodles were nuked in sauce and stiff like they were under cooked. Overall I would not like to eat here for a while til they work on the food.
