Found a bug in my food. Looks like a baby roach up close. I went back to the store and the guy there tried to say it was a mosquito. He then took the food, threw it away, and gave me a refund. I appreciate the refund but am still grossed out from the experience.

My husband and I order from Tokyo Express all the time. Their customer service is great and the prices are very reasonable. It was pouring down rain and one of the male workers pulled out an umbrella and held it over my head, and walked me to my car as he got drenched. They go above and beyond for their customers. I would definitely recommend.

I usually don’t post about bad food experiences but this one almost hurt my 2 year old son, so I’ll show no remorse. This piece of hard plastic was found in either the house special fried rice, shrimp with garlic sauce, or kung pao chicken. I drove back and gave them the piece of plastic in a napkin and explained that this almost harmed my child and they need to be careful. The only response was that “I’m sorry” – I only ask for them to please be more careful in the future when serving food to people, small mistakes like this can cause serious harm that could be fatal to a child. Added a pack of hot sauce in the pic to reference the size of the object.

I feel like anyone who leaves a bad review is honestly just hating I’ve never had a bad experience the food is always amazing I can leave the crab Rangoons in the fridge for a couple of days and still eat them as if they’re as fresh and crispy from the day I pick them up and the all of the food makes my mouth water this is by far the best take out I’ve had the honoring of purchasing. The staff is amazing super kind and always has the order ready in a timely manor I would recommend them time and time again
