When you go out of your way to create the world’s tastiest sandwiches, people tend to go out of their way to get their hands on them. And it’s been like this since we opened the doors of the first TOGO’S in San Jose, California back in 1971. We made the meatiest, most delectable sandwiches around. And people formed lines out the door, anxiously awaiting their turn for taste bud nirvana. Today, people still go above and beyond to get our sandwiches. Because for many, you can never go too far for a TOGO.

The girl that help me was really nice and patient, unfortunately she messed up on both orders. I ordered a brewpub ” no onions” and Large chicken & cheddar half with everything and the other half only with cheddar chicken for my picky son, no lettuce, no tomato. Arrived home, my son’s order came with letture and tomato. My brewpub sandwich came with onions, when I said no onions please.

2 businesses sharing a building like this’ rules should be followed on each side. First togo’s does not have a good variety of toppings for your sandwich. I waswatching a worker wipe down tables n what not but i look over and she uses the same towel for wiping down to push down the garbage. Then, while im eating, i look at the baskin robins side and see an employee touch her face and hair multiple times, while she was fixing an order she has NO hat or hair net on her. What really did me in was when i saw the “no hat lady” go to her co-worker and pop a zit or whatever on her face.

I’ve never had any issues here; except today. I ordered by phone and this is what my BLT looked like. I’ve never gotten so few veggies or bacon. Really disappointed.

The service is friendly, the food is wonderful, the seating isn’t so great, more tables and chairs would be better for dining in

Ordered and No 7 and No 10. Togos has lost me as a customer.. the roast beef was just OK and was cold and was supposed to be hot! The No 10 was horrible …..the actual roll was so soggy you couldn’t even pick it up to eat it and fell apart in your hands! I have been a customer of Togos since they opened in San Jose in 1971 near San Jose State in An old remodeled house. They have always been my go to Sandwich of choice place. For $21.55 for 2 regular sandwiches that were close to being unedible…..inexcusable. maybe it’s just this location, but I have ordered here before and never had such poor quality! We are Seniors and cannot afford to throw money away on something that used to be special for us!

Sandwiches were good. But I was given an expired bottled Sprite. They were kind enough to give me a fountain drink instead since all their bottles had the expiration date of April2022 but I didn’t love them trying to insist it was the manufactured date instead of pulling the product. I did Google whether it was an expiration date vs manufactured date prior to bringing it to their attention but I didn’t want to start anything so I just left it alone after I was offered a fountain drink.
