Enjoyed a delicious late lunch with my son at Toast! He ordered the Toast Cheeseburger with bacon, and the sweet potato tots for the side dish. I had the Grilled Salmon BLT salad which was perfect! They always ask how you want your salmon cooked…rare, medium or well done? It was a large salad and I managed to eat all of it, but took half the salmon home for dinner! Our server told me about the weekend brunches with lots of options for egg benedicts and Bloody Mary’s for $5. …now I will have to go back for brunch soon!

Stopped in Saturday AM for breakfast right at opening and was sat in a booth by the bar. Whoever opened the restaurant couldn’t be bothered to have the entrance mats, or the windows clean to welcome their guests.

Honestly this is just really well done bar/pub food. I ordered a Nashville chicken sandwich, which was really well seasoned and juicy. It was not super hot, but I can overlook that for it still being quality. The service was immaculate, my server was very sweet and kind.

Average food, we’ll go back but will try their sandwiches a we expect those would be better. Pizza was average. Shrimp nachos were lukewarm.

We arrived on the Sunday after Thanksgiving around 12:30. There was a wait to sit at a table but there were open seats in the bar which is what we opted for. The older female bartender was not helpful and was very short with us. We tried a sip of draft beer and it was warm. My husband mentioned that to the not-so-friendly bartender. She just shrugged and said all the draft beer was in the same cooler – what?? To her credit, she did bring some cold cans of beer as an alternative. The younger female bartender was much more on point and friendly, and we were happy she became our main server. The wine is on a tap, and I had never heard of any of them so I ordered a mimosa. It was actually quite good. It was served in a big glass so I expected to taste just orange juice but there was a nice hit of champagne. The restaurant is not fancy, more of a bar-like feeling but, oddly, they had real napkins. Unexpected, but a good touch. We decided to split a Cuban sandwich. I asked what sides came with it, and the nice bartender reeled off quite a few options. What she didn’t mention, is that most (all?) sides came with an up charge. Naughty. Anyway, the Cuban was good but way too much bread. It came with 3 slices of thick Texas style toast bread like a BLT would be built. We took out the middle slice which made it more palatable. The french fries were awful … barely warm and overly greasy. We had basically given up at this point, so we didn’t ask for them to be replaced. As a last note, there is one individual ladies and one individual men’s bathroom. The ladies bathroom needs some sprucing up including replacing the toilet seat. Not sure about the men’s. Anywho, we will be trying out other restaurants in the neighborhood.

This is a go to for brunch with my friends when we get the opportunity. I had the smoked old fashioned for the first time and I wish I could make it at home! The service is always good and you can always expect for a manager to walk by to see how everything is going. Definite A+ from me for a weekend brunch. And….the food is stellar too.

Went for lunch and got the Nashville chicken sandwich while my wife got the Cuban Reuben, both were absolutely amazing.

Between the four of us we had a pretty good cross-section of the menu. The service was average and forgettable. The food was not bad but was also not inspired. All entrees were oversalted. For a “Gastropub” I would’ve expected more flavor and effort in the dishes which average $13-18 per entree. Seemed a little too much style over substance all around. Would not return.

Beware of this restaurant. Both my husband and I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich at waiter’s recommendation. It had so much salt it was almost inedible. We both removed the breading from the sandwich. The chicken was cooked well, but I felt like I was pouring a salt shaker in my mouth. We said something to the waiter who checked with the kitchen. He came back and told us that the chef said it has been a complaint and is due to the batter and oil separating and not being stirred. Yuck. If you know it’s a issue, why would you not change. The waiter threw us a bone and gave us our tea for free. We were not looking for a free meal, just wanted lunch and to try the place. We paid and left, never to go back. BEWARE.
