I went with a couple of my friends to Toast after learning about the change of ownership and not knowing what to expect. We all had some very delicious appetizers – Spicy Masala Fries, Onion Rings, Indian Samosas with Mint Chutney. They all were very delicious, piping hot and all made fresh. The Salmon Curry was so authentic and original and tasted so good with thebutter naan. All the food came out quickly after the appetizers and the service was just superb! Recommend them highly and we’re certainly coming back for more!

The veggie-topped pizza had a delightful mix of colorful vegetables that added both flavor and visual appeal. The crust was thick and satisfyingly crisp, while the combination of cheeses melted over the veggies created a rich and indulgent taste. I’ve been going to Toast – Indian & Asian Fusion for the past 8 months, since I moved to Tahoe and I can honestly say this place is wonderful! Everyone that works there are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and the food is incredible, every time. This place should be packed and will be once everyone tries it. You’ll keep coming back like I have, firstly to talk to the wonderful people there and secondly to enjoy wonderful food and drink. Do yourselves a favor and go as soon as you can and as often as you can and you’ll feel and taste what I do. Thank you Toast for being my favorite place to hang out in Tahoe! See you again soon!

(MOST OF THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKED BY THE OWNER!!) Had family order food to go for me while they dined in and their experience was terrible but mine wasn’t much better. $20 for butter “chicken” with literally 4-5 SMALL pieces of chicken, all sauce and rice. These scammers need to be put out of business. Picture included shows just how many pieces of chicken I got.

Based on some of the previous reviews, I was hesitant, but Toast turned out to be an excellent choice for a nice quit dinner out, while still maintaining its cool sports bar vibe. They have a variety of food, different cuisine and drinks on the menu – there’s something for everyone to choose from, including vegan choices. Our Calamari rings were crisp and delicious, the Chicken and Bean Enchiladas were cheesy and yummy. The service was excellent and our waiter was fantastic and attentive, though the food took a while to come out, we had been warned in advance, with consistent checks on our table, and we liked the attention! My overall experience was excellent – a delicious complimentary treat provided on the house by the host upon hearing about my Wife’s birthday made the experience overwhelmingly awesome! Will recommend to anyone!

We had a few appetizers – Fish N Chips, Samosas & Chicken 65, they all were good. Very romantic & cozy feeling, & the Service was timely and very courteous. Menu has lots of variety from different popular dishes. Would definitely recommend this joint, close to Casinos.
