After having several really good breakfasts at TJ’s we decided to have a late lunch there. Best meatloaf I’ve had in the area! The photo shows said meatloaf with gravy, lima beans, mac & cheese, and cornbread muffins. Enough to take home leftovers! The service was efficient and friendly.

We were visiting from North Carolina because of a competition between schools. And Before finals started we went and had lunch at TJ Family restaurant. It just felt like it was warm and welcoming just by the name. When you walk in you can immediately tell that it is a family oriented establishment. And very popular with the locals. After sitting down we were informed that a lot of what they have is made by them. Homemade cooking I was in heaven. I just watched what everybody was ordering looking at the food. And just overwhelmed with what was I gonna order. I went Italian, My daughter went mediterranean. And Deborah went American. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The waitress Katie was wonderful. Also helped out with some of the ordering. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who is riding by. And we will be going back. We are just over the North Carolina line.

Service was great. People were constantly asking if we needed anything or cleaning table. Felt like we were valuable customers. Homemade biscuits were the bomb! Eggs were cooked perfectly and so was grits. I asked for crispy bacon & it was perfect too.

Old style restaurant with good service and good food. We had to wait a little while but we ran into Miss Dorothy and we just all sit down together and enjoyed a good meal. Miss Sarah was a wonderful waitress, she had a great attitude and checked on us regularly.

1st time eating here. Had breakfast. Gravy and biscuits were good. Scrambled eggs were delicious. Crispy livermush was decent. The service was excellent. Food came out super quick and was piping hot. Eggs were still steaming. Waitress was on point. All the staff were super friendly and seemed happy working there. Young girls at the register were very nice. Will definitely go again. Maybe try dinner next time. I do recommend this place, at least for a good home cooked breakfast.

This place is dining room facelift away from being something you’d see on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. When you walk in be prepared that the fixtures are going to be run down, the furniture is old, the layout is strange and questionable. But once you get past that the service is fast and friendly, and the food all the food the huge portions of food the ridiculous choices, are all very very good. We over ordered, and ate like pigs, and it was all so very good and there were so many more things we want to try the next time we pass through Rock Hill. To the owners, if you can give your dining room a modern refresh, I imagine you won’t have an empty seat for dinner service anytime.
