Outdoor Oven Bread
Tiwa Kitchen’s Outdoor Oven Bakery specializes in bread. Our uniquely delicious loaves are prepared the night before, the dough rises overnight and is then put into pans early in the morning. While the fire burns in our outdoor oven the bread rises in the pans, when the oven is ready the coals are taken out and the bread, pies, and cookies are put in. Our fresh bread has a very soft and bouncy texture with a crunchy crust. It goes best fresh with butter or toasted with our Chokecherry Jelly!
$8.00
Packaged Mixes
Tiwa Kitchens Packaged Mixes are mixed and packaged by the owners and chefs of Tiwa Kitchen. We use authentic blue corn that we grew, picked, dried, and ground ourselves. All of our mixes have the ingredients listed as well as directions for mixing on the back. We are sharing these mixes so that you can enjoy our Tiwa Kitchen specialties at home. Most of our mixes contain flour, if you are interested in a gluten free option or have any other questions please email us at [email protected]
$8.00
Jams And Jellies
Our most popular jelly is Chokecherry, the picture is of the berry in their original form. Chokecherries grow along the river and in mountainous areas, they are harvested in large quantities, juiced, and then processed into syrup by the owners and chefs of Tiwa Kitchen Restaurant. All of our jams and jellies are hand picked and processed in this same way. Our Wild Plum Jam is unique to the Taos Pueblo area. Juicy red quarter size plums grow wild along ditches and streams and have a very unique flavor. At Tiwa Kitchen Restaurant we use our Chokecherry Syrup on pancakes, over ice cream, and to make our one of a kind Chokecherry Lemonade, and Chokecherry Iced Tea. All our jams and jellies are sold in 8oz jars either individually or by the case (12). Flavor: Chokecherry Jelly, Chokecherry Syrup, Wild Plum Jam

So here’s the thing, I loved this place. They are drive through only right now, just a little family gig. They were all fantastic to talk to, the service was fantastic and really just an enjoyable time.

Absolutely stunning, and so exciting to be able to try some Native American cuisine. I love the tea, and the Tiwa taco. But honestly this is the kind of place where you can order anything and get a winner. Highly recommend and I will be back while I’m still in town!

Amazing fry bread burgers—seems to only be drive-thru only these days, as we would have sat down if it was an option, but delicious nonetheless. Chokecherry lemonade was also delicious.

Good authentic Native American food restaurant, however they are drive-thru only. Don’t get anything messy, get something you can easily eat in the car.

Stop in if they’re open… Right now it’s drive thru only. Worth the wait, be patient this is not a fast food place. It’s a mom n pop joint! Come and get a taste of Taos.

Tiwa kitchen has been a favorite of mine for decades. I never miss an opportunity to have a Tiwa Taco when I come to town. Now that I’m moving to Taos, they’re going to get really sick of seeing me!

It was great experience to taste authentic local food, felt like eating home cooked food and tasty too. Nothing fancy. Was visiting Taos Pueblo and had Christmas eve buffet here. Price was bit high for the items served, but still went with it.
