The atmosphere is really nice but misleading. Staff was friendly and the food came quickly and the presentation was really nice. Chips and salsa were really good.

I’ve ventured out today to get a meal before my 7 o’clock meeting. I stumbled upon this place. When I walked in, there was a sign that said, “Wait to be seated.” The place was completely empty with the exception of a couple having drinks outside. The only visible employee was a bartender/waitress. She never greeted me! After waiting about 8-9 mins, I had called her to get some service. I love Tex Mex style restaurants! But this place failed miserably! I order shrimp fajitas. I was serve chips and salsa. The salsa was extremely HOT! The fajitas came really fast and looked freshly prepared, however I was served only 9 medium shrimp (not your typical serving for fajitas it usually 15 to 20 shrimp large size). The fajita pan was small in comparison to other Tex Mex restaurants. The service was POOR! The bartender was doing the best she could to serve the few customer that came into the restaurant as well as prepare drinks. I was over charged $4.00. The menu clearly show fajitas (steak, chicken or shrimp) $14.50. I was charged $18.50. I left a tip because the bartender/waitress was trying! I requested to speak with a manager. She spoke with someone outdoors then came back to my table a stated, “She, stepped out,” (meaning the manager). Please be advised, before paying on the mobile payment device that’s brought to the table, ask for a printed copy of the bill to verify your order. $18.50 plus taxes wasted! This restaurant is BAD for this community. I highly Discourage anyone to eat at Tipsy Tortillas! Very POOR service!

Tipsy Tortilla is an awesome vibe. The restaurant is nondescript on the outside, but very inviting on the inside. It’s a great place to grab something quick at lunch, or for hanging out with some friends eating chips and queso.

This is a Tex-Mex restaurant that is super under rated. We had no idea this place was here or we would have came here sooner. The guac, is one of the best I’ve tasted around, it is definitely fresh. The food also had a nice kick to it. You will not find regular Tex Mex dishes here, they have created their own little signature it seems for every dish. Lastly, the drinks look delicious. While we only consumed beer, we will be coming back to try some of their drinks.

Great new spot with delicious options. This is truly TEX-MEX. So please do not get this restaurant confused with the local Mexican spots. The food is of great quality, taste, and an affordable price. The service is also amazing! I called with 100 questions and the young lady on the phone answered each one with patience. I will be posting photos below so you all can see how amazing my plate was! Going back today to try the tipsy nachos. 🙂

Unimpressed & feel ripped off. My family & I went to Tipsy Tortillas tonight. We arrived just before 9pm (they close at 10pm). The young lady who seated us informed us she seated us but someone else would be waiting on us because she was off the clock. We were the only ones in the restaurant took us between 20 to 30 minutes for everyone to get their food. The food itself was bland (opinion of the whole family). I had the chicken chimichanga it was nice in size but not flavorful/seasoned enough for my liking and guacamole dip (never got the dip). My son ordered 4 ground beef tacos plain (once in the car to fully look at the bill I was charged for 5 tacos). I don’t believe there was much more than a tablespoon of ground beef in each taco (like what taco bell would serve, so not really to shocked), My daughter ordered the tipsy nachos with ground beef ($5 extra for the ground beef) with very little ground beef & other toppings, my other daughter ordered a spicy beef burrito bowl with avocado ($1 extra for spicy beef & $1 for the avocado), we ordered a side of rice for the grand baby. All of our food was served in to go containers except the baby’s rice & the waitress apologized for it being ghetto. This is we’re I really feel ripped off. Y’all they charged $4.99 for this rice that was literally a tablespoon of rice. It was served in a bowl like they would bring you 3/4 lemon slices to go with your water. When I seen that and questioned it the waitress said I had to charge you a side of rice. If I actually got a side of rice I wouldn’t have questioned or complained about it. The check wasn’t even brought to the table. I only got to see the charges after paying & the were printed out on the receipt. Then the menu (even the receipt) says they automatically charge 18% gratuity to bills over $75. Well, if they nickel and dime/rip everyone off the way I feel they did me then they are making good money. Although I don’t see the gratuity on my bill. Needless to say $81 later we will not be returning.

I didn’t bother taking any photos the food was sub par. We ate here during lunch and it was a ghost town. I ordered the birria tacos they came w/o the melted cheese. I was really confused. I just hope y’all invest in a cook before it’s too late.

Listen the place has a ton of potential. Staff is nice… Alexis was really helpful even though she was not our server. Talia which was are serve missed some beats, yet she was sweet. I don’t believe they understand the culture of a Mexican restaurant. The energy is wrong and marketing could really help. I will most likely give it another chance….
