Tried Tipsy Taco for the second time this past week and almost a year after opening, they still can’t make a good margarita even after specifying to the server how I like it. I just don’t think the bar staff is very good here. However, the food was very good both times–from enchiladas to burritos it’s solid Mexican food. Chips were alright a bit too thick and accompanying sauces although attractive were too spicy. This could be a great spot in Margate but I need a good margarita with Mexican food and they are not able to deliver.

Went and had the BEST experience ever. I’ve been to their other locations (both next door), but this was my first time. LOVED the service and the food. Highly recommend trying their authentic Mexican food and DELICIOUS margaritas. Their enchiladas with mole and loaded nachos are excellent!

Another hit by John Liccio! Only the freshest ingredients are used in the many margaritas offered daily and made by the great bar staff. The food is authentic and full of flavor. You can dine alfresco or in the beautiful bar and restaurant.

This is the first time I’ve ever reveiwed something online but how could I not. The service here is so terrible and unorganized. we sat for over 10 min outside while our server passed us multipal times / made eye contact and did not say a word until I finally had to mention it to the hostess who also had no idea what was going on. The server never once checked to see if our apps or food were okay and we saw her maybe 2 times in 30 min intervals. It was not even busy to be experiancing such terrible service. What started as being super excited to get tacos and margs turned into an annoying inconvenience. I could’ve made way better tacos faster at home & for free. The only reason this place is getting 3 stars instead of 1 is because the blond young woman who was bussing tables. She was attentive and quick. She should’ve been serving ! She should be recognized ! Other wise…. don’t waste your time. There’s way better places in the area. The concept is great .. but untill they learn how to functionally operate a restaurant – this place will continue to go down hill.

Probably the worse Mexican food ever eaten. Food was lukewarm, BLAND and I had to ask for sour cream for tacos. The portion of meat in tacos was very, very small. For $10 .75, not worth it. Plus, beer which had to be gotten from next door restaurant wasn’t cold. In addition, they were playing Puerto Rican salsa music, not authentic Mexican music.
