Donna Troiano
They have everything including American, Italian and typical Latin food on their menu. Portions are VERY generous and delicious . It’s a family run business and the friendly owner, Freddy, is always there to answer questions and give suggestions. They’ve been open just a short time, but I’ve been there often and have been impressed each time.

Excellent food. The service was great. The pupisas are very tasty. The only thing is that the prices to order online are different than at the restaurant. Online one pupusa has a price of $4.75, but in the menu, it shows it at $3.50. Something for the owner or manager to look into. Other than that, I 100% recommend this restaurant.

We ordered a little bit of everything on the latin side and it didn’t disappoint. We are in trouble because the food was INCREDIBLE! In summary while they have a huge menu we decided to focus on the latin dishes and loved them. We ordered the flautas ( corn tortillas stuffed with cheese and chicken fried to be crispy), pupusas ( one stuffed with pork and cheese the other with beans and cheese) and then bandeja montanero (colombian typical plate) an assortment of an amazing medley ( skirt steak, chicharrones, white rice, black beans, fried egg, ripe plantains). These were three quality dishes and the people working there were very nice and had the food completed in the quoted time frame. We already can’t wait to order again and try something else.

The food is phenomenal! The Tres leches cake is excellent. It just sucks that the typical Colombian plate is expensive so i treat myself hear and there but if it was cheaper i be here everyday no lie.. but other than that the staff is very nice and good to have Spanish restaurant down the street lol.

I’ve been here multiple times since they opened and have tried several dishes each just as good as the last. Their Typical Breakfast is by far my favorite!

We like the Típico Salvadoreño in West Roxbury so we came here to try this one out. I had shrimp tacos. I was being picky like no raw onions and they were really nice about it and offered replacements. My husband got pupusas and they were juicy lol A good amount of filling and very flavorful. He got cheese, bean and cheese, and loroco. The horchata and jugo de maracuyá were refreshing ☀️

The service here is amazing. The lady that took my order was super nice and accomidated my allergies and let me know what I could order. The prices are great. They also had great vegetarian options for the people I came with. This was the best breakfast I’ve had. The friojoles were great with my popusa. The plaintains were also amazing. Highly recommend and well deserves five stars.

Have come here twice now. First time I had the Colombian plate and flautos. Second time the beef tongue tacos and pork and cheese pupusas. Both times the food was fantastic, prices were fair, staff was kind and attentive, and the ambiance was welcoming. Highly recommend this place for dine in as I will certainly be coming back.

I recently dined at El Tipico Salvadoreño and was thoroughly impressed. The authentic flavors of Salvadoran cuisine truly shone through in every dish. The pupusas were perfectly cooked and filled with delicious ingredients, while the yuca frita was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The attentive staff and cozy ambiance added to the overall enjoyable experience. I highly recommend El Tipico Salvadoreño to anyone seeking an unforgettable taste of Salvadoran culture and cuisine.

Overprice Hispanic food.Just got the Montanero plate. Presentation was good, but the food had absolutely no flavor. Being Hispanic I know what the food should taste like, Iexpected more for a $20 plate with no flavor or taste. I had this same plate at another restaurant in Boston and it was delicious and cheaper with more food.
