Our pastry is handmade using 100% pure butter, non-GMO and unbleached flour baked to a crisp, succulent golden crust. Our pastry has altitude, crafted and mastered in Boulder, Colorado to provide you with the ultimate finished pie.
Tip Top Pies are individual 5 round and built to travel! Pack them for a hike, lunch, a day on the mountain, or anytime you fancy a pie.

What an awesome place! The all-butter pastry that was created specifically for this restaurant is delicious and can be purchased separately if you’d like to make your own pie at home. We bought several frozen pies to take home, they were so good!

We’re fans! We have picked up frozen pies to make at home. The staff has been friendly and helpful. We really like the Roast Chicken and the Steak & Cheese meat pies. They were so good that we picked the same ones up on National Pie Day. The size of the pies is generous, more than enough for a serving (especially if you’re also saving room for a sweet pie or ice cream).

I live outside CO so only come in once a year and the pies are HUGE and tasty. They have increased the size of the pies and the pastry is perfect and flaky. Well worth flying in just for a really good pie!

Normally it is fun to discover a new and unique restaurant. And while this one boasted “gourmet handheld pies,” there was something missing. I chose the steak and ale pie. The crust was delightfully crisp and well-browned, but the filling contained large chunks of steak, a few peas, and a rather bland sauce. Overall, the pie was ok but flat on seasonings. At the least, it could have used more than a little salt and pepper, but there was none on the tables or anywhere else. My wife chose the “beef ragu” pie, which she also found lacking in seasonings. The beverage options were somewhat limited as the establishment is waiting on additional licensing. The pies, which should be their “calling card,” lacked finesse and flavor.

Delicious savory pies and amazingly unique ice cream and soda flavors! Service is friendly and prompt, and the secret off-menu hot sauce is TO DIE FOR.
