Tíos is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Ann Arbor. I’ve been coming here for years now! The tacos are a great price and SUPER TASTY — my friends and I love the papa (potato) taco, the fish taco and the shrimp taco; if you eat pork, I also like the Al pastor taco. Their enchiladas, nachos and quesadillas are always delicious, too, as well as their drinks! I’m not kidding when I say I’ve had their margaritas delivered to my house before. I prefer the classic margarita, but the strawberry margarita is always a hit. This is getting long…but I’d be crazy to leave out the churros . Overall, great food and great price.

I have frequented this establishment since childhood when it was situated off Washtenaw. Recently, my mother was in town and craving Tios, so we revisited. The food was just as scrumptious as we remembered, with fresh and warm chips, delightful beverages, and exceptional service.

Great location in Ann Arbor. The art fair was right outside. Service was great, forgot the waiter’s name but I remember was nonbinary, they/them took great care of us and provided good recommendations. This place has two dishes, one with a plate full of different meats for 2 people and a 5 lb of meat dish. I ordered the smaller one, came out hot and sizzling. Pulled pork had a very unique taste and was wonderful, my favorite. Chicken had a nice smoky charred taste. Shrimp could use more seasoning. Churros were unique and delicious, flaky, crunchy yet soft. Very fast service, no wait and dishes arrived quickly. Nachos had a flavorful fried beans on them. Tre leche cake was served in a jar, was tasty but I’m used to tre leche cake being more milky and moist. If you like meat like I do, this is a good place to get a stomache full.

An Ann Arbor staple they used to be a little hole in the wall serving up extraordinary righteous food and then they moved to liberty. The food quality went down by one star but the service continues to be great and the atmosphere is also a lot more open. Ridiculously huge portions.

Check out the ‘Mains’ menu, fantastic options. The Margarita Shrimp tacos were fabulous and will order again. Deliciously great food, full libations list, comfortable!

Very reasonably priced tacos! I ordered a bunch and took some home for dinner later, but what really drew me here were there fried plantains. I love plantains and they were pretty good here as a side order 🙂 will be coming back. I definitely think this place is a lot better than condados and would highly recommend! Their margaritas are also 1/2 off during happy hour. Yum.

I absolutely love Tios. We’ve come here a lot in the past year and have yet to have a bad meal. The tortilla chips and queso are absolutely addictive. The tacos and sangria are great as well and all of the staff are super friendly. It’s our go-to place when we want to eat out and enjoy ourselves. Can’t recommend more.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the shrimp tacos. The mahi mahi is super spicy even though it doesn’t say it on the menu. Why 4 stars? I was sat in a booth that had crumbs, dust & even a dead fly on the seat. Also, when my waiter handed me a glass of water, he was hanging onto it from the top ~ fingers all over the spot where I’m supposed to place my lips to drink.
