Fully gluten-free never tasted so good! My niece is a celiac, it’s so relaxing to know she is completely safe when she visits. It really is spectacular and affordable!

Great decor and wait staff (super friendly). Enjoyed the tacos. Plantains were nicely made, not greasy.

Tio Pablo is 100% gluten free. The tacos were delicious, and the staff was friendly and kind.

Tacos were good, but the fresh salsas needed depth, and the “spicy” one needed heat. I’m not a “it has to be hot” person, but they were missing something essential, and the salsas make the good, especially when it comes to street tacos.

Tacos , margaritas and it’s all Gluten free! This place had atmosphere and great house margaritas. I had the carne asada Gordita, the tacos el pastor, a carnitas taco and a chicken quesadilla (Togo) and for my desert the tres leches! The flavors reminded me immensely of being back in Mexico! Friendly staff. If I’m ever back in Richmond I’ll be visiting!

I applied to work here. I am more than qualified and for some reason the manager got upset I had to reschedule a second interview, and just ghosted me. The reviews are mixed. They just stole a bunch of recipes from the previous Mexican owners. Cultural appropriation at its finest. It was an awful experience. Maybe they discriminated because I’m actually Mexican and thy want to keep it Blanco in la cucina. It bothers me that no one is actually Hispanic that owns this place or In management. Maybe they have 1 or 2 in the kitchen, but they aren’t taking notes. Every restaurant in Richmond now is stealing food from other cultures (especially Mexican and Asian) and they aren’t even doing a good job of it. If you want authentic Mexican go to La Milpa, or another Mexican run restaurant. I’m glad to not be a part of this kitchen colonization. I’m not salty, this is what Google reviews are for.

What a gem! We made a point to stop at this restaurant on our way back from vacation. The food was fresh, homemade, perfect level of heat. You couldn’t ask for better ambiance – Mexican decorations and popular songs playing in Spanish. Our kids delighted in the taco platter while I enjoyed lingua “gorditas” – homemade corn pitas of a sort. Whatever you do remember to order margaritas and churros!!!!
