The food here is actually pretty good but we felt the service was lackluster, especially considering there is a 20% automatic gratuity added, even though we were just a party of 2. We are typically generous tippers but felt blindsided after receiving the bill , considering how we felt about the service. Received a bit of attitude when we inquired about it. It was pointed out to us by the server that it is mentioned in a microscopic font on the front of the menu it felt tacky after we spent around 150 bucks for dinner and drinks for 2. It felt especially shady after we put our card on the bill and the server ran by our table and snatched the bill at about 25 mph, obviously trying to avoid any inquiries about our bill we live in the neighborhood but unfortunately I don’t see us going back after this bizarre experience.

It’s not cheap, but the food is pretty good and the beer selection is too. Happy hour begins at 4 on weekdays if you can make it – it’s worth it. Discounts on drafts, margs, tacos and more. There’s outdoor seating but if the weather is nice, arrive early. There’s plenty of indoor seating too. FYI – the happy hour nachos are good, but super small. I think your best bet is tacos.

Excellent Mexican restaurant and bar on South Street and 16th. Good, quick service from the staff here. Prices are reasonable as well. Burritos from $10-14, tacos around $12, beers $4-6, margaritas $8-12. Lots of outdoor seating for the Covid restrictions. Cool ambiance as well with plants and hanging lights, great place for drinks with friends or a date night!

We dined outside, streetside, and it was a beautiful night! The veggie quesadilla was okay, the fried sweet plantains and blood orange margaritas were good, but the beer-battered corn (even though it was messy) was to DIE for!! Might have to travel from Cleveland again just for that. Any chance you’d share the recipe…?

We went on a Saturday night, and the experience probably wasn’t at peak. Very noisy, slow, and salty. Undistinguished margaritas. Fish tacos painfully salty. Good veggie tacos. Cheerful but loud ambiance. People talked loud over the loud music, and the place roared.
