If you really enjoy history about the Lincoln County War and ask about the hangman’s tree. Stop and visit with the staff. That is just a tip of the history of the place. Plus enjoy the great steaks that is from local ranches. They have a great ghost story too.

My husband always tells me I should open a restaurant, and I tell him it’s too much work. Well, tonight we ate at this gem of a place that has great food and tasted just like my cooking. They are extremely friendly too, Chef Daniel even came out and sat with us a bit. He ended up showing us a room they rent out. We were just passing through, and wish we hadn’t already made reservations for the night an hour away. The room was amazing. We will definately come this direction and stay here during our next trip.

This place is amazing! It is a place to sit and enjoy, not a quick service diner. Super friendly employees. Beautiful historic grounds to explore. Great food.

What an amazing restaurant! The food was delicious, the service excellent and the atmosphere unforgettable. The owners gave us a tour of the historic building and shared some great stories with us. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

This place was nothing short of spectacular. The artwork everywhere is exquisite. There is so much to see here! The history is very rich dating back well over 100 years. The service was on point and the brunch we ate was exceptional! Stop by here whenever you pass by Fri-Sun during business hours, and, I promise, you won’t regret it! I wish I had taken photos to post!

With a tour by Casey J. Conlee, General Manager, our Tinnie Silver Dollar experience was complete. My wife and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and stayed in one of the two rooms, easily available on Airbnb. We had a lovely dinner by the fireplace Saturday night, and enjoyed Sunday brunch with the same caring staff. The Tinnie Silver Dollar General Store is a delight, and astonishing to know it was the old stables in the original two buildings. This is by far the most interesting place to stay and enjoy incredible hospitality between Roswell and Ruidoso.

Driving in between Roswell and Ruidoso we stopped at the Silver Dollar, walking in we were quite surprised at the elegant western setting. The building is drenched in intriguing history that the staff was happy to share. Very cool atmosphere. Tables were clothed and set in a traditional way, with fine glasses and plates and silverware. We stopped in for Sunday breakfast, and while there wasn’t a large menu of choices, the choices available were traditional New Mexican breakfast choices.
