Great atmosphere and service! I went on Taco Tuesday which made it a little more affordable. I accidentally ordered the queso with beans rather than the one I wanted; the server was so kind offering to switch it out for me! Fun vibes 🙂

I like this place and the location. We ordered a torta and enchiladas. The enchiladas don’t come with a side. They were also really sweet. Not my kind of food. But the torta was really good. We also ordered chips and queso. Their chips are awesome. Each one is a huge circle. Queso was runny but spicy. Wasn’t very busy but we didn’t see much of our waitress.

The duck tacos were good, the cocktails were really good, but the goat tacos & tamales didn’t have much flavor. The quantity & quality didn’t seem to be worth what they charge.

The food was pretty good, and the service was ok as well. My wife and I ordered 3 items off the menu, as well as a few drinks which cost over $100. My biggest complaint is definitely the pricing, which was way way too expensive in my opinion, especially for the tiny portions. If it was 25%-30% cheaper I’d consider going again.

I’ve visited Tinies a number of times and have never been disappointed! From solo hangs to dinner with loved ones or friends. They’ve got a great rotating seasonal menu, cocktails, tequilas and Mezcal’s.

The building itself is the best feature of Tinies, with architect-designed rustic decor setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The indoor lighting is dark, even on a blazing summer evening, and the sound borders on too live, both things people with aging eyes and ears have to consider. Our pretty young server was so attentive and friendly it felt like she was angling for an invitation to sit down and join us; more of a distraction than an asset to the experience. The menu promises small, exquisitely prepared dishes, meant more to savor than fill a hungry belly. I thought I found my new favorite restaurant when the shrimp ceviche arrived, but the tacos–two to an order and exactly four bites of meat filling in a corn tortilla each–and the sides failed to impress my date and me. Tinies is a wonderful place to share a lovely, expensive mean and not go off your diet.

Our server was nice, but the manager was horrible. The shrimp in our ceviche was still blue/grey, so I wasn’t sure it was done marinating and I wasn’t comfortable eating it. The manager came up and told us point blank it was safe to eat, and he didn’t give any explanations or offer to take it off the bill. He was pretty rude and left a bad taste in our mouth for a restaurant we normally really enjoy. For such a nice place, you would think they would take their hospitality a little more seriously.

Great location on South Main. The staff is friendly. The food is fantastic. The only issue is prices are a little high. 2 appetizers and 2 drinks ran $80 with tip. But the quality really is up there. I’ll be back, but just maybe not as often as I’d like due to pricing. That’s the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.

Can’t wait to go back. Came on Taco Tuesday’s exclusive menu. Regular and brunch menu also looked tasty. Indoor vibe was cozy and fun. Spent moments at upstairs bar and on the patio (not the best shade, pick your times). Heat lamps, fans, plastic enclosures for rain/wind. Great date night or first taste of South Main Street district. Multiple Mezcal flights on the regular menu. Worth the trip.
