Gross. Expensive. $36. The fried food (put out platter) was not good. Bad oil. Soup was meh. Empress chicken was a victim of the old oil too. Yuck. I ate only a few bites and some of the hot and sour soup. Very disappointed. I won’t go back. For $36 for three items this dinner should have been perfect.

This is my default Asian restaurant. I have been going there for years, even during Covid. The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch.

The food is pretty good. We’ve never had a problem with it. The service is just ok, and that’s where I have a problem. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a smile or greeting or thank you from the staff. Nothing to make me want to recommend it. Their website tries to make you tip a certain amount, which I don’t agree with. I wish there were better options nearby.

Old smelly dirty – no air circulation and in dyer need of updating…

The food while cooked quickly was absolutely flavorless. The veggies weren’t cooked at all, it tasted like none of the meats or sauces were seasoned at all. This made the only flavor in the whole meal the bitter green peppers. Not to mention no sauce was included for the potstickers and maybe a half of a tablespoon of soy sauce was included. Overall I’d say this is unfortunately my worst experience with a Chinese restaurant, more so than even budget buffets. This was an hour before close but that’s not really an excuse.

First time being back to Tings since the proprietor closed dining in during Covid scare. The menu here is huge and is easy to read with full description of each dish. My favorite is Hot Brazed Pork and their are many others of your favorite Chinese dishs.I highly recommend Ting’s Red Lantern as best Chinese food in town.

We ordered a takeout – beef fried rice, beef stor dry and a veg lo mein. The beef fried rice and stir fry was pretty mediocre, the fried rice was extremely oily and all I could taste was the oil, no other flavor. The lo mein was even worse, there was no sauce, no taste. There weren’t vegetables either, just a small box with plain tasteless noodles. The quantity of the noodles was so little. I don’t think I enjoyed anything about this pretty awful experience. Definitely don’t recommend this place.

Ting’s is one of our favorite lunch spots when we visit with family. We go often and everything is always super well made, fresh and hot, and super inexpensive. Service is fast and food is delicious. Portions for lunch are great too. Highly recommend their crab rangoons and hot braised chicken.

Terrible food, no flavor. Went there because of the good ratings lots of people there, can’t figure out why? Lots of people with no taste buds.
