It was just.. a blah experience. The place was empty and we were about to give up and leave when someone finally took our drink order. We decided to stick around and get a longer experience by ordering some apps before the meal. They were plainly OK. I’m not picky about my burger temp so my raw burger was edible, just not the medium I ordered. Couldn’t even taste the “southwestern” flavor of the pico. Nothing great or outstanding; solid C-minus work so not a terrible failure.. just. Blah.

Food and service was good. Nothing else was. We gave Tin Man two tries.”Opening night” was predictably bad. They made reservations for a group of people playing a bar game and turned everyone else away who wasn’t part of that group despite there being plenty of open tables. Not much of an opening night. They only had two chefs and wait times were crazy. We were seated but we left because they were clearly overwhelmed and had started turning people away. We went back the next night, on a Friday night, and the place was empty. They had a DJ mixing 80s and 90s hip hop and rap which sounds cool but I think it was his first time doing it. Strange vibe that doesn’t match the community. The owners seem like nice people so I hope for the best and hope things get better.
