I purchased the grilled salmon plate. Paid about $23 because I also got a drink. I noticed there was lots of flies and bees surrounding the area. I had my one year old granddaughter and I wanted to sit and eat.

We ordered takeout as my family of four had a great spot on the beach. We ordered the shrimp sandwich (excellent), fish and chips (excellent – my husband loved the light breading), kids quesadilla (not enough cheese and didn’t include the juice box as listed), kids popcorn shrimp (not enough shrimp compared to other kid meal entrees and the juice box wasn’t included).

Tin Fish is one of my favorites, never let’s me down. Fried cod taco/burrito and fried oyster po’boy. The waffle fries are also great. Too much fried stuff you ask?

Stopped by for a quick bite while I strolled the beach and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty my fried shrimp was!! Seriously contemplated a return trip and had to resist =) Don ‘t forget the chocolate cake-YUMMY!

The fish and fries are pretty good. Sandwich is very filling too. Not oily which was nice! Price wise, I think it’s a little more than it’s actually worth. For two people it came to about $44(inc. water and kombucha)…for a ‘shack style’ food place, it’s not exactly cheap!

We were there yesterday and had dinner for my husband’s 42nd birthday. The man who took our order was so nice and gave us a discount and then I ended up giving it right back to him in a tip. Our food was so good and made fast too so we didn’t have to wait very long. We were starving so we were glad about that too. We decided that Tin Fish will be our go to spot in Oceanside each time we visit there. Glad we got there when we did because the line got long as we were eating which proved how amazing they truly are. Thank you Tin Fish!

I went here on a rainy day. Ordered some comfort food onion rings and crisscross fries. The best onion rings I’ve had in a long time. Good size portions. They need more tables with umbrellas for the rainy days. The staff was super nice
