We had a table of 12 on a very busy Saturday! Our waitress was fantastic, I wish I could remember her name! I know we were not her only table and she handled our table of 12 perfectly!!! Food was awesome with everybody, all dinners came at the same time, and nobody had a to go bag, plates were all empty!!! Desserts were equally fantastic, not to mention the drinks! Thank you so much to our waitress and to The owner, Jack, for checking on our table to see how everything was!! We all had a great family reunion that evening! Thank you!

Oh. My. Word. They are to die for. The food especially the fish specials are the best. If they have the pistachio crusted tuna it’s a must get. The risotto is something I wouldn’t highly recommend with any meal as well. Pricing is pretty good, nice atmosphere, and they have a good drink selection as well. The menu drinks are plentiful and the number of beers they stock is well over 100

Time Out Taverne is an institution in the Durham area. Great bar area and wonderfully decorated dining room all in one building. Parking is ample, though it can get tricky during the busy hours. Reservations are suggested on the busy nights, Friday to Sunday.

Our family went on March20 2016 for the first time. Our Table ordered the pistachio crusted salmon, fried Calamari, garganzola covered steak, and their clam chowder. Everything was ridiculously good. Cooked on point and presentations were well done. Well be back. Keep it up guys

Normally the food is very good, tonight though,saw some of the other meals that were served to our table, and portions were extremely small. I had lamb chops, was told they were 2 large ones, they were 2 loin chops, loin chops are not large. Little disappointed this evening.
