So let’s talk about it… I’m minding my own business on a trip up to Michigan for a wedding and I love to stop at restaurants (especially not chain) on a road trip. So I decided to pull off and try this joint.

Husband and I stopped here on a road trip and got some AHmazing food. They have a very comfy comfy vibe. Food was quick and so yummy. Their homemade chips (chippos) were delicious. We were the only table in there so I honestly think our server forgot about us after she dropped the food off. Ran out of drinks and had to go find her (she was just sitting in the other room) for the bill and a box. Still a great place and delicious food, will visit again if we’re ever in the area.

Food was good, first time at this restaurant. Will be back. Peaceful setting and casual atmosphere. Music not too loud.

Outstanding! Timbuktoo’s is now on my small list of places at which to stop for an good relaxing meal while traveling the 80/90 turnpike. I had the pork lion with pepper sauce and maple/bacon drizzled green beans. Awwwyyeaaaaa… The service was efficient and friendly and the atmosphere was very chill. Eat outside, if you can. Inside looked fine, however.

Stumbled across this place with my wife. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. My wife loved the salmon. I thought my pork steak was very good but could have used a bit more.

Always an excellent meal! Will be back. Hopefully they’ll have the portobello appetizer next time.

We stopped here by pure coincidence. We decided to skip the last rest stop and realized we needed gas. We searched for places nearby and decided to try this place out. 10/10 I got the Hawaiian burger and my wife had the special and we were both very satisfied! The cook knows what he’s doing!

Dropped in for its good location off the turnpike during a road trip. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a yummy dinner combined with a welcome atmosphere and good service.

My friends loved the horseradish sauce that came with the mushroom wedges appetizer. The beef tips were tender and flavorful. The chicken chop salad was good too. The carrot cake was very tasty. Great service with a cute and unique decor.

We came here after the reviews. When we initially arrived it was a 30min wait, however they took our phone number called us and we came right back, and got right in. The spinach balls for starters were awesome, the main course was good descent size portions and good taste with their own sauces. Overall the staff is very friendly. Real cosy, romantic, place nice date night place or good family dining. Nice job
