The Halibut and Chips were great, but very few fries for the largest order. Halibut pieces are shrinking in size.

I cannot believe in 2023 that such hatred and racism still exist to the point where a business will still refuse to serve black people. We sat at a bar where 3 bartenders refuse to acknowledge or even look at us. After a few minutes we realized they were not going to serve us. I come from the south (Georgia) and in my 66 years have never experienced anything like this. BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT TAKE THAT TRAM TO THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN. They don’t want our money. Even though it’s green, you’re still black.

Fries were hot, tap list is meh, vibe is Highschool cafeteria or military DFAC meets hotel bar. Did the job, hit the spot for what it was.

The views we’re phenomenal! The food was ok. The order of nachos was a massive serving!

Bad service and didn’t even have all the ingredients for there grilled cheese and burgers. Had to wait almost and hour for full service. Had two huge cruise ships in on a Friday evening. Need new managment/ownership if they’re going to get a better review from me (a local). I feel like they’ve gotten too entitled from previous years. But now they completely have fallen to an all-time low in service! I would not recommend if you want a better meal and better service just go to the twisted fish or Tracy’s. Just do the tram for the breath taking view and GREAT photos. But don’t dine at the timerline bar and grill!!! It’s not worth your money in my opinion.

Pretty pricey but the waitress is so sweet, the view is amazing, and the burger was pretty bomb too! Worth it!

I arrived at the Timberline last Monday with high-expectations. I had read reviews on trip advisor and seen people rave about the crab nachos. Because of this, we made it a “must-do” for the duration of our port-visit to Juneau.

What a beautiful view and friendly staff. Portions were enormous, and the blueberry pie was to die for. I was so excited to find that they offer a vegan option, the delicious Impossible Burger, which was fantastic. Husband had the crab nachos (their specialty) and was very happy with them.

We had a great time hiking around Mt. Roberts and were starving and very thirsty by the time we sat down so we were really looking forward to a good meal. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon, so the place was pretty slow. The first thing I noticed was that my fork was dirty but I thought no big deal, I’ll ask for a clean one….so we wait..and wait…nothing. After 10 minutes I asked a busser if our waiter was going to bring us some water. His response was “well who is your waiter?”. I said “I don’t know, haven’t met him yet.”. So we wait another 10 minutes, watch another table being sat and served water and cocktails, still nothing. The waitress that served the other table wouldn’t even make eye contact with me when I tried to get her attention. We eventually gave up and left, two crying kids in tow. It was truly bizarre. I would say it was the worst service I’ve ever had, but there was literally no service at all.

Timberline Bar & Grill need to: hike up a steep climb, pay for a tram ride, get someone with a season tram pass that allows a single guest per day to ride the tram. If you pay outright, it’s pretty expensive. Hike up, spend at least ten dollars, show receipt to ride down.
