Enjoyed our apple cider, beer, and ice cream + cookie desert. However, we had to ask for napkins after the food was brought. Restaurant was loud and crowded, but that’s understandable due to its location. Server checked on us regularly, but didn’t look me in the face, (only my husband), unless I stopped him to ask for something, such as napkins.

Food was very meh – burger was burnt, chicken tenders tasted like they were frozen, and service was bad. $50 lunch and you get a 4oz condiment cup for water and they do not provide recycling. Only positive was the Mountain lager from a local brewery. Protect Our Winters and skip Timber & Torch

Nice place to come in and warm up. The appetizers are very good. I’ve been there a few times while in Steamboat. The outside deck and fires are nice to watch the world go by. The drink prices are a little high, but I guess that goes with its location.

Not a fan – even if Winter House was filming here during our visit. The Sticky Pork Ribs were a mess and didn’t have very much meat on them – really not worth the fight. The Pork Belly Steam Buns were tasty but also fell apart after the1st bite – also very messy. I’m not sure how you screw up a $9 Pretzel – but they managed to make a soft pretzel not very soft. The drinks were fine and the service good – we were able to be seated right away and they didn’t hurry us out.

Kind service (if slow but that is to be expected at the restaurant at the center of everything), really tasty food. We got the amazing Kung pao Brussels sprouts, burgers, two salads (beet with chicken added and power salad with salmon). All were excellent.

Family friendly dining. Great option if you are at the mountain base or in the square. Kids loved the mac n cheese so recommend. Chili and soup is exceptional and highly recommend. Pro tip: get the grilled cheese with the chili or soup. It’s a meal! Queso was okay so recommend a different option. Matt was our server and he was 5 stars!!! Professional and welcoming and on top of everything.

Great menu with also a couple of great healthy options. The burger was delicious, meatloaf was excellent, mac & cheese was fantastic. Truffle fries were also a great choice to share for the table.

Some of the best slope-side dining/bar views you can get. Sit next to a fire pit or under the heated overhang while you watch people finish their runs on the mountain. Typical bar menu and fairly good food (on mountain $ markup to be expected). The seating can get full inside, but they do offer to-go and our order was filled quickly.

Buns were dried out, chicken was rubbery and not hot, I kept checking to make sure it was cooked. Salad was good. Over priced and poorly done. We were hoping for a great lunch…
