Bruschetta I took a trip to Chicago over Labor Day weekend 2017, looking for ideas for this menu. I had some killer bruschetta at Lou Malnati’s with my buddy Chris and I thought, “Hey, we could do this!” Then I spent too much money at the bar and woke up with a hangover. Fried Cheese Curd One of the best business decisions I ever made was forgetting to order enough fried cheese curd from my supplier one week, which forced us to try making it from scratch. It quickly became our best selling appetizer. Served with marinara sauce	$7.99
Fried Pickles Five pickle spears breaded with Cool Ranch Doritos and deep-fried. Served with a spicy Ranch dipping sauce. I don’t think I’m supposed to use the actual Doritos brand name without getting some kind of license. Screw it	$5.99

The Return Of The Mac A tribute to forgettable 90’s songs everywhere (where did you come from, where did you go, who gives a sh*t about “Cotton Eye Joe”). Our normal burger is topped with a fried mac & cheese puck and then covered with cheddar cheese sauce. I’d say Mark Morrison would be enjoy it, but he’s probably still in prison holding someone’s pocket	$13.99

My fiancé & I came here for date night. Came from 30 minutes away because we’ve heard such good things about this place. It was 100% worth it. The service is seriously fantastic. Hannah was our waitress, so so kind. I’m not sure who sat us, but she was also very kind. Food was delicious. 1,000% recommend the Mac n cheese!! Our burgers were delish! Definitely coming back & making sure to bring other people!

Amazing food, and an even better atmosphere! We drive 30 minutes out of our way just to come to Timber Tavern! Waitstaff is always friendly, and specials are always different. I recommend the apple jack burger! Hands down the best restaurant in the north country!

Stopped in for lunch while visiting family in Potsdam. Food was awesome, however Brittany our server was AMAZING!! She was working alone, had an 8 top, 7 top table and 5 other tables between the bar and dining room with 2-4 people and she didn’t miss a beat!! As a business owner for over 20 years, whatever you are paying her is definitely not enough, especially in this economy. Someone who is that dedicated, hops in the kitchen to pick up the slack because the other cook wasn’t in and can STILL handle those tables. I hope you know the gem you have there. Very impressive. Lucky I’m not in the restaurant business or I would have offered her a job on the spot! P.S. Love the descriptions of your menu items

Visited on a Saturday night. The parking area is very poorly lit at night. Hard to tell you are even at a restaurant. Servers were young and didn’t seem to know what to be doing… service was pretty slow and it was confusing about how to get a table. We just stood awkwardly around being ignored but eventually got help by asking if we should seat ourselves. Menu featured some interesting jokes but I think the author could do with some editing. “Brevity is the soul of wit.”
