Stopped at Tigers Burgers for a local bite and it did not disappoint. The lone worker was patient and completed our order as desired. When you step in, you will walk on a mostly worn penny floor with some quarters mixed in, retro bar stools with red cushion that line a counter top made of three 2x4s. A sign in the bathroom reads: “Employees must wash hands every 30 minutes.” A good amount of dust could be found on all baseboards and could use a good wash. From certain tables, you can see into the kitchen through a window that is adorned with the restaurant’s logo….you can hear the sizzle of the burgers. History facts reside on the two garage doors that look like they open when the weather is nice. Burgers are made to order: have them with everything, have them with cheese, have them plain. The sliders are great for small hands. Greatly enjoyed the home cut fries!

I like the idea of the place, but if you like soggy, greasy, salty, and overpriced seafood, this is the place to go. Kluckin chicken needs to stop by and get some of tiger stations salt cause their fries are very bland and these ones were over the top. Probably will not return

I was so excited to try this food on our trip. We went out of our way to try it based on reviews. The guy with the dreads took my order. I ordered 2 kids’ shrimp meals. I had told him I couldn’t eat the adult basket. It was too much food. He charged me for a kids shrimp and an adult fish basket. My bill was much higher than I expected, so I looked at the receipt. I brought it to his attention bc I want what I ordered. He seemed totally confused, so I just told him to keep it a basket and give me shrimp. He did but made the kids meal fish, which wasn’t what my daughter ordered. We just left it at that. He came up and asked me if I wanted some sauce, so I ordered the dynamite sauce. He never brought it to me. Before we left, he asked if we wanted drink refills, so we said yes, told him what we wanted, and he turned around and instantly forgot what we said, so I had to remind him. He gave us our drink cups back, and I’m pretty sure he cross mixed the Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. I wouldn’t have tipped him 15% had I known the service was going to be so TERRIBLE! SOME OF THE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD! He was more concerned with eating shrimp in the back while preparing our food with no gloves as he popped them into his mouth. I saw him do this twice. He was also concerned with being on his phone. All of this totally overshadowed the meal! The floors are greasy in the restaurant and in the bathroom.

Food here was fantastic. If you are looking for some food that will make your taste buds go wild this place is an awesome stop. We were just passing though town and decided to stop in. My daughter had a burger where the bun was made from a fried patty of Mac n cheese with bacon and a very flavorful burger topped with their special tiger sauce. The fries are fresh cut and delicious. Wide variety of dipping sauces made them even better. I enjoyed a slider and some wings that were also exploding with flavor and the fries just complimented this combo making me steal some of my daughters fries because I ate all of mine. They have beer and I think wine but no mixed drinks. A nice patio with a cool old gas station location. Fun place to take the kids. Love this locally owned gem!

We stopped here on our way to Colorado. We are a family of 2 adults, 1 teen, 2 pre-teens and 1 child. It rarely happens that we all love our food, but at Tiger Station, we did. The chicken po boy was amazing. The kids all loved their chicken baskets and the hubs loved the fish. We’ll definitely be stopping here again next time we come through Hays.

The Mac of Oz Burger was Spectacular! I should have gotten the 1/4 lb burger. The 1/2 was almost impossible to fit in my mouth, but my momma didn’t raise a quitter. Would also highly recommend the Wicked Witch Burger if you like a little spicy Jalapeño as much as I do. 10/10 would recommend!

Passing through town on i-70 we wanted to grab some real food, we are so burnt out on fast food it’s not even funny! I am so glad we spent a few extra minutes and going to tiger burgers what an absolute delight the Mac of Oz Burger and the scarecrow Burger are something out of this world! In the heart of downtown Hays you cannot go wrong with any of these burgers-prices are right, portions are huge, and food options are endless!

Been there twice since it opened back up. If you like fish and chips, this place is fantastic. Their fish is moist and delicious, the fries are very tasty, and the staff is super friendly.
