We’ve only been living in New Haven for five weeks, but I can say with confidence that this place is going to be our favorite restaurant. We’ve been three times already. It would be hard to beat.

Drove all the way down from Watertown to experience the best vegan food. New Haven had to offer and boy did this restaurant deliver!!!!! Not only was everything they had to offer absolutely stunning visually and provided flavor that absolutely packed a punch, but most of their menu options were vegan! And in the environment of New Haven where there are such a plethora of other vegan options, this one stands true being able to deliver very accurate cultural interpretations of Tibetan food right here in New Haven. You have to check this out even if you’re not vegan or vegetarian. The food here will blow your mind and leave you feeling at ease that you ate a healthy balanced meal

What a surprise! Excellent Tibetan food in New Haven. I loved the bread roll. I also enjoyed the dumplings. Baby bok choy was done nicely. Curry was excellent. Overall the food here is excellent. The only issue is getting the table because this place is tiny. I also enjoyed the chai. I’ll be back.

Absolutely amazing! I just wish there was more seating. We were a party of 5, 5 beautiful people driving about a hour away to find some healing food made with love and we got it. It is as if Buddha opened his belly and said ” come on in” and we did. Food was fresh and inspirational in the sense I want to make some at home. Service is kind and compassionate. Server was very helpful, sweet and attentive. Food came out very quick. We ordered appetizers, salad, bread and main dishes. Everything was excellent. It was our first time here and we look forward to returning over and over and entering the Buddha’s belly. Food is healing and taste sooo fresh and good. It created memories with my family!! Thank you Tibetan Kitchen. You will be closed to end of July But we will be there when you open again. ️☸️☸️

I never do reviews. I came on to log this review in 2 days after eating there cuz this place is FIRE. You know when they got spice levels, they’re prepared to deliver. Fresh ingredients, beautiful colors, laidback atmosphere, super staff. A necessary addition to New Haven’s burgeoning food scene. Feel like going back and eating my way through the menu.

Came here on a Friday night. I called 10 minutes before for a reservation. I got very lucky as it was empty when we came in, and very busy towards 7:30/8 pm, and I can see why! The food was amazing, and the staff were very kind. I would highly recommend. Portions were perfect. Thanks for a great experience and amazing food!

Food was amazing. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Staff are incredibly good-natured and friendly. Only a few tables though, so go at off-times.
