We had a large group here for lunch – fortunately arrived early bc they got super busy. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was quick and friendly. Great vibe here. Happening place – check it out.
Just Me
We’re not loud music people so the atmosphere was not what we like because we were seated 1 table away from the music. But we’ll for sure go back. The shrimp brochette was awesome and Carter was an awesome waiter. He made the atmosphere a lot better.

Went on a recommendation & so glad we did. Not sure we would have tried it otherwise. The whole Mexican/Cajun/seafood mix was a little intimidating. Everything we had was delicious. Chips and salsa/queso was spot on. My margarita tasted like a margarita. I had the gator tacos & they were so good. Husband had a combo plate & he enjoyed everything as well. The restaurant had a great vibe going on. Our server (Casey) was fabulous. Very patient & helpful. We will definitely ask for her on our next visit. So glad we decided to try this place.

Father’s Day with two of my sons, we were seated immediately. The server forgot the appetizer (86 that), and failed to provide jalapenos until reminded.

Tacos and fried pork ribs were amazing. Bread bowl is always our go-to as well. This time the garlic bites were a little burnt and it smelt kinda fishy. Still tasted very good. Had a great time.

The food here is always fantastic. Today, I had a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo with a side of potato salad. Delicious. The potato salad is perfection. Husband had the New Orleans BBQ shrimp and it was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted.

This place was good YET DISAPPOINTING The FOOD, WAS DELICIOUS. That’s the good part. SERVICE WAS BAD!! Our waitress was ROSESA, She was very MISLEADING & CONFUSING She made several mistakes on our order plus TAC ON A 19% GRATUITY ON EACH PERSON! (6) 2 of us orderd a drink $50 for 2 DRINKS!! She didn’t deserve a $100 TIP!! YOU SHOULDN’T PICK YOUR OWN TIP!! THIS WILL DEFINITELY KERP US FROM COMING BACK!!

We frequent the Tia Juanita’s in Lake Charles more, but everything here in Orange is just as good! Do get their boudin quesadillas though – they’re a must!
