Literally never even heard of this place! I only came because of a doctors appointment nearby and I was hungry. I didn’t even know this brand existed. I got the Austin Club. The sandwiches here are reasonably priced with fresh ingredients! I also got the Sunrise smoothie! Never been to a sandwich place that had smoothies! I would certainly come back here again. It is good quality food!

I literally haven’t been in here in over 20 years. I don’t know why I was stubborn about visiting but have been taking an interest in sandwiches lately. Soo many places have come and gone. Subway set up soo many locations, and then they went away. But this Thunder Cloud location has remained here since I was in school. I worked there briefly and enjoyed it. I never forgot how fresh the sandwiches tasted, and it hasn’t changed! I can’t wait to return and try another.

This location is almost as weird as the original one in Austin, and the food quality is almost the same which is unusual in a franchise. The bread is fresh the fixings are fresh and there’s plenty on your sandwiches. My one recommendation is ask him to shake the Thunder sauce bottle to mix it up before they put it on your sandwich.

Wes & Mac are the BEST and the sandwiches are A++ and very filling! I highly recommend the Veggie Delite with bacon. Also, I got the gluten-free bread & it is very tasty and not dry at all, with which some other GF breads have trouble.

ThunderCloud is an Austin staple that should really be a Texas staple. It’s almost impossible to find someone that’s tried them but didn’t love them. The sandwiches are fresh, flavor packed, and overall delicious. Even the normally boring club sandwiches stand as menu flavor icons thanks to the good ingredients. Parking here is somewhat tight but it’s worth walking in from the neighboring HEB parking lot.
