Throwback Brewery is a small, inspired farm, brewery, & restaurant dedicated to crafting delicious, farm-fresh beer & food from local ingredients. Our brewery and pub are located within a picturesque 1860s post & beam barn on a 12-acre working farm in North Hampton, NH. We are the only brewery in NH that uses at least 70% of New England ingredients in every batch of beer. With the opening of our restaurant in July 2015, we’ve committed to the same sourcing philosophies in crafting our food as we do our beer – everything is made from scratch with lots of heart and love. At Throwback, our mission is to spread happiness through our farm-fresh beer & food, and we delight in sharing our vibrant, burgeoning farm with our community. #nofarmsnobeer

We have been wanting to try this place since it opened. Finally stopped in! Really fun night out. We sat outside but both indoors and outdoor ambience was rustic and relaxed. Love the farm vibe. Waitstaff were friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent. Very interesting beer selection. Spicy beers and sour beers were fun. The mango hot honey Margherita was quite good as well. We’ll hopefully stop by again but they stop seating at 7:30, which is a bit early on a summer night for us.

I can’t say enough good things about this female-owned and run brewery. Farm animals for the kids, an amazing relaxing patio, a rustic hip interior. The food is wonderful – the onion dip, Korean wings, and – surprisingly – the SALADS are standouts. They recently expanded to cocktails. I had a frozen mango margarita and my daughter had a mango lemonade slushy that were out of this world. The beers should probably make top billing. Their sours are nuts and something to write home about. I can’t speak to their pale ales and lagers because that’s not my thing. But their porters and stouts are also great.

So, if you want to support local farms and stuff, I highly recommend this place.

Phenomenal! Went on st patty’s day for first time. Burger and Rueben were so so good! Brisket chili was different, but yummy!! We loved the atmosphere. Family friendly. Beer selection was great. I personally loved the sour beers. Amazing outdoor seating area. Beautiful barn. Love that it’s local to us, will be visiting frequently!

We had a great time at Throwback! The crew behind the bar was great! Always kne step ahead even hearing us about different beers we’ve had, liked and offering samples of what they had on tap. I am a pilsner/lager/Kolsch beer drinker and my husband is an IPA/Porter or Stout beer drinker. They have plenty of good taps in all categories. The stouts we tried were fairly light Great for a hot summer day, if you are a dark beer person. Our Koren BBQ wings were very good. Crispy and tasteful. The kitchen is on point. No waiting around for food. We saw some really good looking burgers coming out of that kitchen. We will be back for one of those! We stayed through Harvest Hosts and parked ourselves in the back parking lot. They are booked for the season, but if you get the chance in the off season to go- do it! Hobbs Farm is also a delight, offering some great farm to table choices. The atmosphere is wonderful with plenty of seating outside for large groups.

Great selection of beer. You sit wherever and order at the bar. They bring you the food and drinks. I thought the food was done very well. Salad was fresh, tasty dressing, chicken was dry. Burger was good. Chicken tenders were hand breaded and amazing. Sunday Brunch menu had multiple options. Great for families in my opinion. Overall, good food and service but I thought the price was a little high.

The women who own and operate Throwback are the most caring and hardworking people around. They love what they do and you can tell the staff love working there. We’ve been pint club members in the past, and we visit often. A great place for families, groups, lone wolfs and anyone else. The outdoor seating in the summer is prime and you can visit the chickens and donkeys (mind your children and dogs). The food is hands down the best around (onion dip, Korean wings, and bao buns are our faves). Never turn down a chance to try their specials or grab a slice of cake when they have it. Now that they serve seasonal cocktails I like it all the more because I am not personally a beer fan. However, all our friends are and it gets the green light every time. Arrive early because they’re almost always busy (the new dining area helps a ton) and do not accept reservations except for certain events (ex Mother’s Day brunch).

What makes Throwback special? They have the key to a perfect world where super nice people, local ingredients, delicious food, great beer and a fantastic atmosphere allows everyone to enjoy and keep coming for more. The setting, a 12 acre working farm that dates all the way back to 1860s. A team of super nice individuals guided by two incredible strong and creative women: Nicole and Annette. The creative touch of Chef Carrie that surprises everyone with fresh and elevated dishes. A place where everyone is welcome. The farm, the farm stand, their home made sausages you will also fall in love with the place.

Was not expecting the beers and the FOOD to be so amazing! Already visited twice and sat outside under a lovely large pole tent with a pea stone floor that was wrapped in blankets blooming perennial beds. First visit, I had a beer flight and fish tacos (delicious locally caught fish (not fried), slaw and a tangy dressing. (We’re both born and raised in Southern California and just sold our farm-to-table restaurant in Vermont so we’re picky about what we eat.) Husband had the burger with sweet potato fries. Perfectly cooked. Second visit, we brought family from California who we’re visiting for a few days. They both love beer. The husband has tried over 1500 beers (loved the jalapeño beer). We drank flights and shared their house made chips and onion dip, the ceviche, the cheese slate and charcuterie slate. Everything was delicious and generously sized. We will be back.

Flavorful, unique beers and delicious, farm fresh food options. Family friendly, my kids love it here (the sweet donkeys help with this), and the location is beautiful. Love the little farm stand as well! All in all, one of our favorite places to go as a family!
