The food is great. Best Chicken Wings in the Iowa City/Coralville Area. Order the Spicy Chili. The sushi is very well done and they have a great variety.

I’ve always loved this place, not sure why it ever gets less than 5 stars. Great sushi, excellent variety, good, friendly service. Olivia is a champ, she’s always here busting her butt while being one of the most chill servers I’ve ever met.

Experience was mediocre at best – upon walking in the host (or person at the host stand I noticed him waiting tables later) stared at our party blankly. It was myself, my niece, and my 2 small children – which I’m sure is not the most exciting table for a Sunday lunch. Upon being seated we get settled and watch them seat 3 other parties – a couple, a single man, and another party of 4 adults. All of which were spoken to and served before ourselves. After about 10 minutes, i stopped a server asking about this – which they explained our server was held up and would be over. When our server arrived she also started blankly and asked for our drinks and took our food order – she stared blankly at us the entire times except when my niece trying to be personable said she was really pretty? It was weird. She did get our food in promptly and it was delivered promptly and very mediocre – it wasn’t bad food by any means – it just wasn’t great (could be what we ordered – pretty basic – we got 2 sushi rolls, a chicken hibachi, and fried rice for my toddler) but I never saw her again until the end of the meal? It was odd. It’s clear that their staff are not trained to work together or just refuse to help each other.

Unbelievable sushi rolls! The Crab Rangoon, seared steak roll, and ring of fire were the best sushi rolls we have had anywhere! If you like flavorful, gourmet rolls, get these for sure! Also, staff is very friendly and service is fast!

Was a little pricey. Kind of put me off that the prices to order online is much more expensive than what is in-store. The chicken katsu bowl was delicious, the salmon roll wasn’t as thick as I was hoping.

Loved the calamari roll but that was about it. The drink machine wasn’t working right so only had alcohol water or hot tea. Hot tea was microwaved water. Guess I wouldve felt better about it being warmed on the stove, that’s just me though. But I was very happy with the one of the three sushi rolls we ate.

Stay away from this place. The food is ok, however, the staff is incredibly rude. This is my third bad experience. They won’t listen carefully to what you are ordering. As a result they will change what you really meant to order over something similar. Or should I be an expert in Japanese food to dine in this restaurant? Maybe I should leave Japanese? Come on! I even tipped you guys in 20% for a pick up order. Listen to your customers next time if you don’t want to end up loosing them as you lost this one.
