Not my first time but this place is always a dreamlike experience – a bakery that looks completely normal and carries a wide range of bakery items but is in fact, totally vegan. I’m leaving this review because yesterday, Saturday August 12 2023, I witnessed one of the best store workers I’ve ever seen anywhere. There was a girl working the front of the bakery completely by herself in the afternoon, managing a line of people and very big excited orders: the person in front of me ordered $130 worth of items, at least one of every, single, thing in the case and on offer – drinks, soft serve, etc. This bakery worker packaged that massive order and every order quickly & perfectly, without forgetting anything, and did so with a genuine smile and enthusiasm. Amidst the constant influx of more and more customers she continued to greet every single person who came through the door, even a baby in someone’s arms, all the while working neatly and cleanly all the while to remove the signs when items sold out from that big order or replace them etc. without missing a beat. Again, the line was out the door and the orders were not small – anyone else would have been stressed; this worker was prepared and here for it. We were amazed and were served quickly. As for the baked goods, they’re delicious and nostalgic. The selections change so I got the cinnamon bun special and some cookies. My advice is to be respectful of how hard this bakery clearly works, remember that the front of the bakery is a bit small so you may have a short wait depending on the time you go, and to be open minded to try whatever delicious things are on offer that week. Don’t miss it!

AMAZING! Filled with a wide variety of vegan treats (cakes, cookies, muffins, cupcakes) and a limited selection of bowls. The bowl tasted fresh and ingredients were high quality. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Got the funfetti milkshake and the employee (super nice) added cake pieces to it. I liked it so much I ordered one online to pick up a few days later and when I called (I’m assuming it was the owner) angrily informed me that the shake does NOT include the cake pieces and the employee was not suppose to add the cake pieces last time because “it’s a $7 dollar slice of cake!” The whole interaction was weird and left me with a bad impression of the owners. Also they never called to tell me they couldn’t complete the order as requested (I called them). So all in all you’re paying $9 for oatmilk with some sprinkles. Kind of ridiculous.

We’ve already been twice in the week they’ve officially bene open! The oatmilk soft serve is amazing with cherry dip! The chocolate croissants are great warmed up for breakfast. We got the blue and pink lemonades as well, perfect treat on a warm day. We will be back many times.

If I lived in the apartment upstairs from the bakery building I would eat The Mermaid Bowl everyday they were open ITS JUST SO WOW. I’m in love with the flavors. Very reasonable price considering smoothie bowls elsewhere can be quite expensive with such superfood ingredients. Thank you 3 girls

We were visiting CT and found this place; it’s absolutely delicious! We’ve never seen such a stocked vegan bakery full of wonderful treats. The banana pudding was amazing and the salad bowls were so good! I wish we lived closer but we’ll have to visit CT again just to go back here.

For a vegan treat/delight, this place is a must. I’m not a vegan, my wife is so we drove the hour to this place and it was great. Realize due to the products they use, prices are going to be slightly more but well worth it. Also the town green and surrounding area is a nice place to spend part of the day. Don’t forget to check out their “restaurant” down the road.
