WOW!!! The tenderloin sandwich is the best I have ever ate. Made to order, crispy and piping hot! Worth the almost 2 hour drive. The cheese balls were good also. The fries were not my favorite a bit soggy but they politely made me another batch and they were a bit crispy. Service was exceptional and friendly. I again can’t say enough about the tenderloin. Next time I will pass on the bun because this sandwich needs no help with taste. I also met the owner and he was the sweetest gentleman ever. Had a nice talk about his diner. Super spot. On my top list of food joints. A MUST TRY!!! A+++++

My uncle and I were in on a Saturday 15th. Now keep in mind we are regulars 4 times roughly every month. The food we both ordered was decent 1/2 pound burger’s with side of onion rings just on one order, and a large Sunday with the other. Total bill with meals and drinks was $45 bucks. When leaving I included a tip with the bill. A young blonde girl whom was not even our waiter, complained about the tip amount that was included in the check as we went to leave. Again SHE wasn’t our waiter. Should not have concerned her. Let alone with that kind of ENTITLEMENT on top of the price of a meal, I’ll order Casey’s pizza down the street.

Broasted chicken was burnt on outside, oil used to fry in was old. Not much onions in the onion rings and nacho fries were no more than thinly sliced potatoes, deep fat fried in old grease with a bit of cheese sauce. Slow service rounds out the reason I won’t be back.

Driving by Three C’s looks like a place you would miss, but all the vehicles in the parking lot will tell you it is likely a great place to stop. Great it was. Food was awesome, service and coffee were great, and prices are pretty good for the amount of food you get.

Although it appears unassuming, there is a whole lot of wonderful happening here at Three C’s! We came for the pork tenderloin sandwich, and it certainly did not disappoint. My favorite pork tenderloin sandwich to date! And the home made onion rings! Fresh brewed iced tea. Fresh soft serve. And to top it off, the service is incredible! Do your part and patronize this joint when you can.

The 2018 Iowa’s best tenderloin champion did not disappoint. This small diner has a delicious tenderloin and a Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich my wife says is better than anything she has had in the Des Moines Metro.
