We were in Carlsbad for an evening and stumbled across this establishment and we were glad we did! First off, the ambiance is quirky, but fun! The atmosphere is really topped off by having the food served on chicken plates. The owners, Jimmy and Belia, were very friendly and interacted with the customers a great deal. They have a great story about starting the business in a food truck and now have their brick and mortar location. The service was extremely attentive and the food was excellent. They had many selections of wing sauce and they described them accurately. I can definitely say that they were some of the best wings I’ve ever had!

Had a cheeseburger fries and 16 hot hot wings service was excellent. The cheeseburger was awesome and the hot wings were very good and hot . Head ice tea, sweet, but not too sweet really really really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was like eating at home.

When you arrive, you may think oh great it’s just another hole in the wall restaurant. you think the service ain’t gonna be great and you think that you’re not gonna have good food but don’t let the looks fool you and don’t let the people fool you the food is like when you have a rough day at school and you come though the door of your house and your grandma gives you one of those hugs that hits just right. That the food you are getting. The atmosphere is astonishing, the owners are very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend

Wings are awesome. Best I’ve ever had. Servers and owners are very nice and accommodating. Only complaint is it is hot inside. We sat by the ac which made it tolerable but would definitely come again if we go through.

The owner was very friendly and the staff was helpful. Had to be some of the best chicken wings I’ve had. A bit crispy and very moist. Our favorites were the KK, hot, mango habanero, and lemon pepper.

While we didn’t get to eat here, I just wanted to shout-out the owner and his wife. Without going into detail, they were having a crazy day and had decided to clean up & close early (rightfully so). Even still, they both were willing to open back up and feed our large crew. We declined, because after hearing their story that day, we could just tell they needed an evening off to decompress. Shout-out to them both and we wish we could’ve tried some of their delicious sounding wings. If you’re in the area, support a great small business! You can just tell these are good people.

Its hard for me to say when wings are good. Im from Atlanta and wings are a staple for us. Atlanta deli, b&k wings, k wings, the list goes on. This place has some of freshes, straight out the heat wings. Crispy, and juicy. They got the sauce. I surely got lost in the sauce.

The wings and sauces are amazing. Wings were cooked perfect and had the right amount of sauce. The staff was super friendly and the owners were a class act. I highly recommend Thelmas for the best wings in Carlsbad. Will be going back over and over again.
