Our server greeted us as we were choosing our seats. We got our order taken very quickly. And that’s where the good evening ends. Waited 45 minutes for a salad and a medium rare burger. The burger I literally squeezed the pouring grease out of it. It was extremely rare. The fries were boring with no seasoning. I asked 3 times for a side of ranch, to 2 different people, and still never received any. We sat with empty drinks for most of our 45 minute wait for our food. It wasn’t that busy, which would have been understandable. We were checked on twice 1 time was when we received our food. Less than 20 people in the joint and worst service. Don’t have terribly high standards by any means just ask that you check in on us periodically.

We stopped here on the way to a wedding on Memorial Day 2023. We won $250 on a pull tab and were told that any winnings over $50, would have to pick it up later. Unfortunately, they were not open when we were going to be driving back through. We live in southern WI so it is not easy to get here. Over multiple FB messages, the owner promised to mail me the money. Yet nothing has come in the mail as of 8/29/2023. The owner now won’t even respond to my messages. I will be filing a complaint to the state.

We stopped at this place after doing some business in River Falls. This bar was super awesome! We loved the decor/atmosphere and the lovely wait staff. We ordered off the build your sandwich menu which was very unique and I had the southwest chicken wrap and we got cheese curds as an app. Overall super delicious and was worth stopping in. If you’re ever in River Falls this place is definitely worth a stop in, even if your just up for drinks!

Stopped in on our way through Black River Falls. It is easy to get to from the highway, even with it being in downtown. The fish fry was fine… Nothing too exciting. It took at least 45 minutes to get food for four (the fish fries and a French dip). That was annoying. Then we were upcharged $4 for the Mac n’ Cheese as a side on two of our fish fries; this wasn’t indicated on the menu, so the say was also annoying. The staff was nice, but made it a hassle to get the $4 to refund us, so this joint swooped is for $4 and 45 extra minutes of our lives.

Lunch out for Girls Day, and we picked the perfect place to eat! Attentive service, fabulous drinks and the food was fabulous! The French Dip sandwich was delicious and the fries are light and crispy. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for the great meal!

The Wright Place has a really good menu. I had their 3 meat platter, that had chicken, pulled pork and brisket. It was very good barbque. We also had their prime rib bites for an appetizer. They were small pieces if prime rib thst were batter fried and served with horseradish sauce. They had a number of craft beers on tap. The majority were from Sand Creek and it is hard to go wrong with a glass of Oacars Chocolate Oatmeal stout! We will definitely go back again!!

They don’t keep regular hours. Had a trip planned but when we got there they were closed. Website said they should have been open. Ended up going to the place across the street, which turned out to be amazing!

Burgers were amazing. Fries could have been a little crisper. Waitress working solo was amazing and more attentive than places with multiple wait staff. Definitely coming back.

The sever, food, and beer were all awesome! I had the brisket sandwich with fries, brisket cooked to perfection with a good amount of BBQ, but the fries aren’t as good as they used to be. I tried the Hard Lemonade- tasty and refreshing. Finally our server was enthusiastic and helpful! I will be back!
