This is our second time back since they opened. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor. Dishes had good portions, and great presentation, but not much seasoning. The burgers were big and juicy, but I couldn’t even taste salt and pepper. The mushroom pizza left a lot to be desired. The chlorinated water makes the drinks taste poorly, and the music is fun but was so loud at dinner that we couldn’t have a conversation. Dessert was quite good, and it’s a very nice looking place, but it could use a couple improvements with its menu items. And save the high level volume with the music until after 8 or so.

FLYY and FIT
A friend of mine suggested this place and we visited yesterday for the first time. I looked over the menu before we went and had an idea of what I wanted to try, however we got there during brunch and the dishes I wanted to try are on their dinner menu. So be sure to look at the appropriate menu for which dishes you’d like to try. The brunch menu is full of tasty options. My friend ordered the Backwoods Barbie cocktail and the Garden Scramble. I opted for the Woodward Burger and we both wanted to try a couple of their pancakes, so we added in a Pancake Flight. My burger was juicy and delicious, although I probably should have requested it to be cooked medium well instead of medium. As for the cinnamon pancake, I really enjoyed it. The texture was soft, fluffy, and buttery. Overall my rating was a 3.5 only because my tastebuds weren’t blown away and there were minor mistakes made with my order.

First time visiting, we were there during their brunch time. Food was really good! Did not take long to get seated, order or get our food. Hannah was our waitress and she did an amazing job! Recommended we come back and try their dinner menu as well. Will be going back to try it.

Came into the Woodward American Bar and Grill for the first time today. What a wonderful experience. Our server, Ian, was fantastic. He was very cordial, informative, helpful & fun to talk to. The food was delicious. This place changed my mind about ordering a hamburger away from home. Cocktails were great. I’ll be back. Great, great, great!

Nice restaurant. Ambiance is dim lit modern themed. I belive they are pushing a country vibe due to the neon light with Garth Brooks lyrics and country music playing. The staff was nice, checking to make sure everything is going well and tasting good.

Went for brunch on a Sunday. Nice looking place. Staff was really friendly and kind but the food was not good. I had chicken and waffles. I have never in my life had a flavorless waffle until then. Even with butter and syrup, it lacked flavor. The chicken was also very bland and over cooked a bit. The presentation was nice but the food didn’t have flavor. Oh the cocktail was really good.

Amazing place! Just went for brunch and started off with a mimosa bottle and a flight of pancakes. The pancakes are amazing and we ended up getting another bottle and then chilaquiles. They played good music and had sports playing on the TVs so that was entertaining. Excited to come back to try dinner here! The GM Justin was so nice and checked in with us, even asked our feedback on the food! Great atmosphere, great food, great place for brunch.
