Very good side salad. The Corned Beef Reuben was okay. I like pretty much all Reubens because I love sauerkraut and rye. In this one the Corned Beef had a lot of fatty bits, which I picked out the worst pieces. I switched out 1000 island dressing for mustard, which was yellow mustard. I prefer spicy brown, but yellow might be all they had. The mashed potatoes were a little lumpy, but besides the lumpy parts were pretty creamy, so overall pretty good. The waiter was super friendly, cheerful and helpful and did everything right.

Stopped in on July 21st on our way to Lima. Great service. Bartender (he may have been the manager) showed us around the place. Very nice guy. We had a beer and got the sauerkraut balls to share (we had dinner plans that evening). They were amazing. The breading was so light and crispy and the dipping sauce was very good. We will be back for dinner soon.

Amazing food! Service was smiling & friendly! Manager was great! I hate sauerkraut, but they have an awesome appetizer. Mac & cheese good. House made alfrado sauce is to die for! Locally brewed bock.

The restaurant was slow when we went in and our food came out in very stretched out waves. Some people’s plates in our party were ok others completely inedible. The waitress was super nice but that was about the only thing really good about this place.

New owners and a much needed remodel to this tavern. The interior was new but still contains the history of the old place, including several authentic and tasty Wooden Shoe beers (14 total beers on tap). I had the build a burger, since there was a whole menu dedicated to it, chose the brisket burger, and was impressed, one of the best burgers I have had. Service was great as well.

This place is a gem! Warm and cozy interior & fine casual food done well. I had the cavatappi alfredo & it was the best meal I’d had all week. The Tailspin beer on tap was great too.

I’ve been going here occasionally for several years now. Visited last night for the first time since the new owners took over and everything was great. The menu has many of the great classics that made them famous but I feel like it has also been improved upon. The remodeling they have done is gorgeous. The service was great as well. We had a party of 12 and while sometimes it can be chaotic and take foreeeever with large groups, they handled us all just fine. Very impressed! I look forward to going back!

This little whole in the wall is wonderful. First time I’ve been there since the remodel and it is really nice inside, almost felt underdressed in a tshirt. I already knew their fried chicken is great so I tried the salmon and I was blown away. By far the best salmon I’ve ever had. The fries were very good too. Can’t wait to go back.
