Excellent Public House atmosphere. They accommodated our group of 14 bikers with our own room. Put several tables together and gave us a waitress that was exceptional. Only one mis-step when one person did not get his water…but it was fixed fairly quickly. I had a burrito that was really large and good. The portions are excellent and the cost is about $10 to $14 for most entrees.

First time there. We had Friday fish specials. Cod and Walleye. They were excellent. The price was very reasonable and service was great. My only question is do you always make your coleslaw with shredded lettuce instead of cabbage or was that a mistake? It was warm and slimy. Not good at all which was disappointing since I love creamy coleslaw very much. I would love to come back to try more entrées. Great looking menu.

Ordered BBQ beef nachos & club sandwich w/sweet potato fries. Onion ring appetizer was a good portion. Each meal was enough for at least 2 ppl. Nothing special about the onion rings but the meals were excellent! Shredded beef was seasoned with the BBQ sauce not just poured on it. Makes a difference. Club was packed with meat.

I stopped in on the chance that I could find food in a small town…OH BOY! I found it! This breakfast burrito was one of the best I’ve had. Everything about it was what you would want from a breakfast burrito. Texture, Flavor, Size, Freshness, with a side of salsa, hot sauce and sour cream…mmm. Go out of your way to buy food from people who obviously like to make food. Well done Wooden Nickel II !

Took mother for Mother’s day. Food was great. Serving sizes were amazing, brought a lot of food home. So much on menu would have liked to try. Even though we had to drive over an hour, we will go again. You might want to give it a try.

Had dinner and breakfast here in the past two months. Very disappointed. Food was burned both times. The food and service in the past was always excellent. This had been our favorite place to eat two to three time a month. Not anymore. Doubtful we will be back.

Great local restaurant and bar! We love coming here for a low key dinner or a great weekend breakfast buffet! It’s a local bar in that it’s comfortable, but you don’t get the uncomfortable stares from all the locals. They have great events daily which is so fun.

We live in Dansville and took some family from KY to The Nickel. Our server, Angie, was amazing! We had an assortment of menu items, and everyone loved their meal! We stayed a while, and never felt the slightest pressure to leave. It was a great experience! I know when Auntie D’s back up, she’ll want to head to The Nickel and sit at Angie’s table.
