Good spot tucked away. I came in for breakfast with my kids and we were immediately greeted. I had the chicken fried steak, it’s breaded in house and you can tell. The kids breakfast are a great value at 6$. Service was good. Overall a good experience. We will be back!

Great atmosphere! Great staff! Food was home cooked gma style but lack a little bit of the love. Fries a little over done on outside and under done on inside. But, for the most part we really enjoyed our lunch. Again-Great staff, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and on the spot, never had to wait for anything! Thanks for a very good lunch.

This is an outstanding little restaurant. It has that mom and pop feel, with some good down home cooking. The owners are awesome. The waitresses are spectacular and the cooks put out good food. I have had several meals at all times during the day and have yet to have anything bad. I love supporting local businesses, and this is truly one that checks off all the boxes for me. If there is such thing as a bad thing, the only thing it would be is parking availability. And really that can’t be helped considering it is right downtown. It is well worth the wait I’m going around the block a couple of times looking for a spot or even going to the parking garage and walking over. You won’t be disappointed. Stop in and try it out.

This was the absolute worse place I have ever been the service was absolutely terrible. No one who works here seems to know what’s good. It was our 1st time here and we had contact with two people and both workers had an attitude. Didn’t know what was good and that’s a red flag to me if you work somewhere and don’t eat there. We paid for our drink and left. It just was bad. Like we know it’s hot but the attitude as a server for no reason is crazy. Who hurt you? The two girls looked pretty young. Great place for breakfast, food was fresh and hot. It was more then 3/4 full and food still came out pretty quickly. The atmosphere was relaxed and older style decor. Our server was professional, friendly, and polite. Will be back!

It was very busy when we came in around 12:30. All tables were full and there was a wait. However, two different servers came by to let us know they would get us seated as soon as they could catch-up. They genuinely apologized and my party of four didn’t feel dismissed. The gal that served us again apologized for the wait and was very friendly. The food was really good and the presentation looked great. Five stars from our party, they are just understaffed as most restaurants are. I give them accolades for there team effort!

Two wonderful different experiences with Wooden Derrick! First, ordering for an office of 30+ with short notice, using their delivery service–great idea! They had every detail correct and their ordering is really specific so you actually get what you want, no making do. Second, went in for breakfast, because I obvi had their burger at work, and even their breakfast slapped! It was a little bit noisier than I like, but I’m pretty picky, especially with my eggs which were perfect! I like a runny yoke and a cooked white with no crispies and they nailed it, and made sure of it. The service was wonderful, their food is incredible, I absolutely love eating here! Bussin’ local burger!

I was traveling through the country with my family from Edinburg TEXAS, and decided to stop in for breakfast. The food was excellent. Service was Outstanding. Next time I pass through Casper again I am getting a couple of steaks. I read on some of the reviews that they wanted mcdonalds instead? Really…..Wow.
