We popped in here upon our arrival into Virginia. The brisket was good and moist, and the sweet sauce was on point. I enjoyed almost everything except the greens. I am not a fan of vinegar in my greens. Overall service and food was good. If we ever return, we will definitely come back for the barbecue.

Absolutely incredible place. My fiancé and I stopped after spending the day hiking at Shenandoah National Park. Truthfully our entrees smelled so good I forgot to take a picture, but we got an appetizer I remembered to take a picture of. I would die to have that mac and cheese again, it was truly life changing. We each had pulled pork and brisket and they were so good. If were in the area again we would definitely come back. The sauces on the table were all absolutely delicious. And our waitress was an absolute doll. I couldn’t say enough about this place.

The smokehouse wings were good and made fresh. The brisket was good, the baked beans were delicious, and the potato salad was bland. The food did take a while to get, but it was not cold or warm, indicating it was still freshly made. The BBQ mustard is really good with a spicy taste too it. Overall a good experience and will likely visit again.

We stopped here on a long road trip home from a vacation. It was super busy when we went in, as they were having some sort of business meal going on but we were still served well. The place was packed, which we always take as a good sign! It did get a little crowded with the long line to play going right by our table, but there were no other tables to change to that we could tell. Regardless, we liked the barbeque here even a bit better than the stuff we have around home!

Just picking up to go. But…if you are with a sweet tooth, and they have in stock, cherry and/or apple cobbler is amazing! Haven’t tried peach or blackberry yet. PS: I wish they’d add Deep Fried Battered Green Beans! Serve with a sweet/spicy(Sriracha)dipping sauce. Nobody else has them! Ruby Tuesday used to serve them. Check out Wolf’s Fixing for yourself. Thanks, guys.

Decided to give this place a shot while in town. It’s a small local bbq spot with a hometown feel. If you’re dining in, you sit yourself. The staff was very nice and friendly. I ended up ordering the pulled chicken sandwich platter with fries and baked beans. Everything was pretty good. Nothing over the top but very satisfying. They had several different bbq sauces to choose from. The sweet bbq sauce was perfect for the pulled chicken and the beans were very good. I’d definitely stop by again next time I am in town.

If you’re looking for a comfortable place with good service, this is it. If you think ‘sauce’ when you hear bbq, again a good match. If you’re looking for high-end bbq, it’s not. Last time I went the meat was dry, I’m not sure if they forgot to salt, and I didn’t taste any smoke. Their sauces are great though, so if you’re a sauce person, they might hit the spot!

A top restaurant in Ruckersville! Great ribs and a good selection of appetizers and sides that won’t disappoint. I would love to see fried mushrooms make the appetizer list! 🙂 The cornbread made my day! Great service!

If you want some really amazing Brisket this is the place to go! My husband & I enjoyed the homemade sweet BBQ sauce (it has a hint of berries to me); but they have other options. The Mac & cheese was so good we ordered another one. And let’s not forget the Onion Rings which are fried to perfection! Our server Mary just made the whole experience completely worth the trip. Glad we stumbled upon this delicious restaurant!
