Easter Sunday meal was a joke. Tiny serving of prime rib. Servings were not consistent in the dining room…every piece was supposed to be 10 ounces…some covered the plate..mine barely existed…we added a lobster tail which was large and overly seasoned which killed the flavorful crusteacion. Was met by a very polite server named Nicole who made the experience more enjoyable. I sent my prime rib back and they simply replated to the meat….so it returned to me with cold veggies. Any Chef would have frowned on this practice. You REMAKE the whole dish. I watched countless plates of prime rib go back to the kitchen, apperently the line was unfamiliar with cooking temperatures and they were never served as the customer wanted Sadly disappointed as we waited months and months for this place to open….maybe time will help get them together…sadly the first experience is usually what makes an impression.

Saw a few reviews before trying this place about the service being bad. In my only experience, the service was charming, quick, and accommodating. I had the crab dip appetizer and it was okay, but my wife’s filet Mignon and my scallops were fantastic. The specialty old fashion was great as well. I’d definitely eat here again.

Went there this past Saturday night, got seated promptly and had great service! Our waiter, who was also the bartender was friendly, fun and attentive. The food (triple stacker – steak, crab cake, shrimp) was very good and perfectly seasoned however the lobster bisque, was sent back by all 3 of us, it was entirely too salty to eat. Surprisingly for the atmosphere, it is a bit loud. Had average tasting chocolate cake for dessert but the portion size was huge!

Went here for our anniversary. They took note that I mentioned that on our reservation which was a great start. I ordered the sea scallops which were seared and seasoned perfectly, my wife had the strip steak which again was delicious! The service was great, great attention to detail and the waiter even catered to our toddler who happened to be very active at the beginning, he was great. Very nice ambiance, jazz music, not too loud that you couldn’t hear your conversation. Even the hostess was professional and kind. We will be back. OH!! You have to get the Italian Cream Cake!

The Wharf strikes a balance between casual and fine dining. The atmosphere leans casual and the food fine. Yesterday was our first visit and everything was excellent.

From the time we walked in until we walked out the experience was awesome. Our waiter Jay greeted us with a smile on his face and continued to dazzle through the meal. He was awesome and kept us entertained theought the meal. Not to mention he’s a veteran! Our food was delicious. We didn’t know this when we walked in, but the owner and chef was on Chopped! I had the blackened snapper, a special for the night and my fiance had the sea bass. We couldn’t decide which was better. Overall we were very happy with everything and strongly encourage everyone to try it. We will be back.

Amazing customer service, from the moment you walk in to the moment you get in your car LITERALLY. My daughter left her necklace on the table and the manager ran it out to our car as soon as we were pulling off.

The food was alright. The waitress seemed lost and confused the entire time. At 6pm, they were already out of salmon, but she didn’t tell us that until 10 minutes after we ordered. I got the lobster bisque, which was actually really good, and the grilled vegetables. The vegetables were cold, but really tasty the next day when I warmed them up, except for the burned pieces. We had a coupon for a free appetizer and used the military discount. The waitress kept coming back with the wrong bill or the right bill with the wrong discount. It took 20 minutes to get it right. 20 minutes after we finished eating.

I’ve been here twice now. First time was a first date. The waiter Jay was super friendly and knew the menu top to bottom. Great menu for steak and seafood restaurant. They also have specials that are not on the menu. Very elegant classy restaurant. Great mood and nice jazzy music playing. Food has been delicious both times I’ve been. My Dad came to visit from Detroit. I brought him here he gives 5 stars as well. This is a picture of the deliciously half eaten Grilled Seabass! To die for.

We chose the Wharf for my girlfriends birthday dinner. Yes, the bar is small and yes you walk right into the dining area as you enter. But beyond that, our drinks and dinner were amazing. I am a mixologist of sorts and our cosmopolitans were the best ever – in ANY restaurant in the Southlake area. Dinner was fabulous – we all had the salmon and grilled vegetables. The reason I did not give it 5 stars was the dining service was terrible!! We ordered an appetizer that took over 45 minutes to arrive – and then dinner arrived 5 minutes later. When we inquired about the appetizer it was clear the server completely forgot we ordered it. For a final toast to my friends birthday we inquired about the price of the champagne by the glass after dinner. When our server returned 20 minutes later with a price, it was too late. The moment had passed. We moved on. All in all, I will be back.
