The Well is a non-profit hub for vocational training and youth mentoring.
Our coffee shop, coffee roastery, events venue, screen printing and graphic design, together with our music arts academy provide opportunities for youth in Midtown Stockton to develop their skill sets, build their resumes, and receive valuable hands on work experience.

I love The Well. Everyone is so friendly and always remembers me. The hot tea is a must if you plan on sitting and relaxing for awhile. The pizza is huge and can totally be shared but my favorite is the avocado toast. It is so tasty and perfect when paired with their sweet white mocha. I haven’t found anything that I didn’t love. Great ambience and my new favorite spot to sit, read a book and relax with a nice drink or lunch. A must to check out for all locals!

Thursday June 1, 2023 was my first visit to The Well. The staff was incredible, welcoming, beyond polite, and attentive. Old fashioned hospitality. The Coffee, Pizza, and Brownies are delicious. The atmosphere is unique and warm. Can’t wait to go back and try a breakfast sandwich or burger, and have another delicious cup of coffee. My new favorite place. It is for sure a must to residents and visitors of Stockton. ENJOY!

I only found out about The Well thanks to a wonderful coworker who showed me an amazing looking burger and fries she bought here. So I finally decided to get a burger from here for my husband, since I’m vegetarian I figured there wouldn’t be anything for me BUT SURPRISE! The Well has Beyond Burgers!! I was so happy to find out I could eat a delicious burger too! Well we just finished our burgers and I noticed there’s no photos in the reviews of the burgers so I’m adding a photo of mine. My husband got the Stocktonian which has jalapeños and bacon and chipotle sauce, he loved it. They’re better than any other burger I’ve ever had. And the fries too!
