I travel to Iowa City about once a month, and always look for local food. I ordered a whole pizza, along with cheese bread. The cheesebread is served with 2 ranch and 2 marinara . It is huge, and some of the best cheese bread I have had. The pizza is always loaded with toppings, and never soggy. This is my go to place for pizza now every time I’m in town. Also super close to my hotel which doesn’t hurt.

One of the very few pizza places in the IC area where the meat toppings are not limited to pepperoni, sausage, boiled chicken and ground beef. Here, you can get more exotic toppings like jerk chicken, shrimp, cajun chicken and Anchovies. Their original crust is light and chewy, just the way we like it. The prices are comparatively much more reasonable than other places around, given the quality of their pizza.

Ordered gluten free. Whoever answered the phone when I called asked if I wanted the 12” or the 14”?? I then asked so you have 2 sizes now? He started asking another employee about the gluten free pizza sizes and the other employee told him that the 12” gluten free pizza was better than the 14” because it was made with egg whites. My grandson picked it up for me. Sadly, I took a couple bites and I knew it was not gluten free!! My grandson called to confirm. They said it wasn’t gluten free! That they would make one and not charge me! They charged my card $20-21 for a big mistake that they made!! I want that charge taken off my card!!

Soooo disappointed. I ordered canadian bacon but received chopped ham. They are NOT the same. Pizzeria menus need to clearly say “chopped ham” if they don’t have true canadian bacon because they taste so much different and I would have never ordered that topping had I known. .

Absolute best pizza in the Iowa City area. I love the half and half option and love that there are so many vegetarian choices. They don’t have a sit down restaurant, just a window to order/ pick up from.

We’ve frequented The Wedge and it’s amazing every time. Don’t order the Cheesestix unless you are ready to become addicted – extra good with the ranch dip. I love their unique toppings on their pizzas, like The Nutcracker which includes 4 kinds of cheese, roasted red peppers and pistachios.

Absolutely abysmal. Confirmed a celiac friendly kitchen with the staff, got a gluten free pizza- definitely wasn’t gluten free.

Best pizza in town. Excellent customer service. We had a problem with a delivery and they made a fresh perfect pizza for us.

The Wedge is absolutely fantastic. The specialty pizzas are yummy and there is the largest selection of pick your own toppings I’ve ever seen! There are lots of vegan and vegetarian options. My only complaint here would be they are still using dayia for their vegan cheese and there are so many options that actually taste good now, like violife and others. Dayia used to be the only choice, but it isn’t anymore so and if is not good.
