We picked up takeout from The Waynesburger on a quick trip into town. The food was really great, and from the quick stop inside to pick up the food we really liked the atmosphere. We will be back to eat inside when we have a little more time in town. I got the Philly Cheesesteak, and my husband got the Waynesburger both with a side of seasoned fries. The food was great and it was packaged well to eat on the go!

The Waynesburger is the ultimate town burger joint. Fantastic food. Variety of burgers on the menu, along with gyros sandiwches and plates. Thick creamy shakes are the dessert you should have in this place. The gyros sandwiches were terrific. tzaziki, tomatoes, onions on the bottom with a sprinkle of feta on top. The hand cut fries are a must buy in this establishment and they come seasoned or with just salt and pepper. The cashier was helpful and accommodating. This an absolute place to visit if you are in the area.

I’ve been here twice this week! Gyros are perfectly seasoned and generously filled. 51 flavors of shakes!!!! I’d recommend the amaretto or the rocky road. The mousse is extremely rich, so the portion is smaller. Seasoned fries have a great Old Bay flavor.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and it didn’t disappoint. On the corner in Waynesboro PA…this nice burger shop. I was impressed with the atmosphere like an old time diner. The milkshakes are to die for….Amaratto my favorite…had a great cheeseburger with special Waynesburger Sauce and onion rings. Topped it off with rice pudding. Family friendly…try it…I know I’m going back.

Found this spot while riding through town and it was fantastic! I ordered a chicken gyro and my ‘hubby’ had a Greek salad with chicken and both were amazing! The dressing was particularly awesome….wouldn’t I just love to have their recipe?!? I had not had such great Greek food since I was in Greece many, many years ago. The staff was super-friendly and this also reminded me of my trip to Greece. If I was heading anywhere near Waynesville again I would detour miles and miles out of my way to it just to eat there again!
