Beautiful. simple but classy restaurant where everything on the menu we tasted was exceptional. Very well presented and amazing service by the staff. Great manager he checked on us 3 times during the meal and was very pleasant. We showed up 15 minutes before closing and they still welcomed us in with open arms. I highly recommend this restaurant. I only do reviews when I am thrilled with the service and the food.

Had the best lobster roll here it was loaded with lobster piled on a butter toasted bun. Offered 2 ways, warm with butter or cool with mayo I got it cool with mayo and a side of slaw. It was very delicious. We arrived at 11am Saturday they were open right on time and had some of the best air conditioning in town. Great looking specials & our waiter was top notch also. Can’t wait to try it again.

Let’s start out by giving a huge shout out to Joe! Fantastic bartender! I only gave it 4 stars out of 5 because the quality of the oysters did not match the price in my opinion. Everyone’s opinion is different. I got the second option which a dozen was right under $50 – I will say I would rather spend that money on so many other choices. Now I love oysters don’t get me wrong. I just don’t believe in spending money on food that isn’t worth the quality, we’re they bad ? No. They were still good just not 50 dollars good. The calamari is a major hit every time. The sweet chili and aioli is but a dream especially when you mix them together. The drinks were all on point. I loved the boat flight! I also took a picture of the brunch menu because I plan to try brunch out soon!

Waterman’s has been in Lake Norman for well over a year. We finally got there. We went for a late lunch. We each had 1 drink, shared the hush puppies and then a sandwich. Everything we had was delicious. I’m pretty sure I chose the most expensive sandwich on the menu…the lobster roll. A whopping $29 BUT it was delicious. BTW you can get it hot or cold. I chose hot. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. Our service was very good.

This was my first visit and it was a pick up order rather than eat in. I ordered online (easy) and got a text when the order was ready. The bag was waiting for me at the entrance. The oysters were delicious and the grilled trout was cooked just right. I didn’t care for the dirty rice with corn but that could just be me. I look forward to going back!

Finally had the opportunity to experience The Waterman for my birthday and it did not disappoint! The service was exceptionally well and all the staff was friendly. The food was really solid all around. I really enjoyed the pieces of lobster hidden in the daily catch and the rice was nice and tasty. The mussels were amazing and the drinks were really good! I probably shouldn’t have gotten the chocolate in a jar but hey it was my birthday. Definitely will be back again!

Ate there today for lunch and while my catfish sandwhich was good delicious. The fries on all of my guest plates were nasty & dry. I hope the manager really addresses that this was our first time trying and my husband doesn’t want to revisit this place which is sad because the inside is very beautiful. Also the beignets and hush puppies were very doughy . Not sure if this is how they make them or someone just added way too much flour in the batter. I’ve had both beignets and hush puppies from other establishments and the taste was light and airy. The drinks were good also I ordered a tequila margarita drink with the blue sugar rim and ice cube.
