What a great place! We stopped because it is an old Route 66 grocery store. It has Route 66 stuff but in the back is a delightful cafe. Best food. We both had a fried bologna sandwich…something we haven’t had in 50 yrs. It was excellent. Made to perfection. The potato soup was excellent also. The women are so nice. Definitely happy we stopped.

Well…. Where to start? It took a minute for the waitress to come over and there were only three other people in the place When we arrived. Maybe they were busy before us? My sandwich came out and it wasn’t even the sandwich I ordered. Send it back for a remake and explain to them I ordered sourdough not wheat bread. The second sandwich came out and it was exactly like the first. Not the sandwich I ordered and on wheat bread not sourdough. So I got up to speak to somebody and they just brought me out two pieces of sourdough and I had to take the fixings off the one on the wheat bread and put them onto the sour dough bread. But the chili was good. My husband ordered a club on white and it came out made on wheat also missing the center piece of bread. I don’t know what’s going on there but it needs better management I think.

We had the burgers and salads. Great food, great service! The free Valentines cookies were a nice bonus. <3 We would definitely recommend it and eat here again. The store was cool too- my kids were thrilled you have Ramune!
