We had escargot and shrimp for appetizers, I had the surf and turf ($135) and my wife had the seafood Alfredo. This was the nastiest food for the price point we have ever had. Our sides were mushrooms, corn and carrots. The food must be meant for the over 80 crowd because it was so bland it was painful. Not even salt and pepper could help. They must have social distanced the seasoning from the food. You’d have better luck spending $300 on a blackjack table that had 9 decks of cards. Disgusting. The service was amazing but even that cannot make up for the geriatric cafeteria food they serve.

Update. Ben. Outstanding waiter. This is the best steakhouse I have ever ate at. Ate here three times now. Salmon tonight was amazing! In the past. Seabass was outstanding! The app Escargot was great as well! Staff is incredibly professional, prompt, attentive and very high end! House salad is a must try as well. It’s outstanding! And of course my Fillet was cooked perfectly as well! Thanks for two nights in a row of a fantastic dinner experience! Price… I don’t really care about price. This is a high end steakhouse. Enjoy the experience guys!

For the price of the food the quality was not up to par. This was a first time visit for a first impression it was a BIG NO for me. I would not recommend for someone wanting food quality to match the price. Waiter was friendly at first until mentioned the food was not good, also never received bread ask for twice. Ordered Surf and Turf at market price of 100 dollars. The steak was Dollar Tree value. I ordered steak to be medium well ended up with a dry well done steak. Best part of the meal was the lobster. The atmosphere is nice and romantic but the food is equivalent to Denny’s. Save your money and your time. Go to cheaper a steak house. At this place you do not get what you pay. After going back in forth with the waiter he comp 40 dollars off an 200 dollar meal.

First off Ben was an excellent server at The Vintage! Otherwise, we ordered Seafood Alfredo, it was bland, no cheese taste…it was seasoned with salt and pepper at best! Needed much more season. The other dish was a Filet and Lobster tail….also they were were only seasoned with just salt & pepper. The most tasteless entree’s we have had in “Louisiana Cajun cuisine,” it was like what I heard having Covid was like! Spent $244

It’s been almost a month since my wife and I ate at Vintage, but we felt it important to leave an honest, although maybe a lengthy review. In January, we decided to use Shreveport as our halfway stop on a trip to visit relatives in south Louisiana. We wanted to stay in a casino so that we wouldn’t have to look or drive for drinks and a restaurant. We chose another casino, but we ended up at Bally’s in a search of decent drinks and food, and we discovered The Vintage. We weren’t too hungry, so we sat at the bar where we met our new Shreveport bartender friend, Richard (Ricky). We had wonderful appetizers of quail and crabcakes, both of which were absolutely delicious. We had great conversation and drinks with Ricky. So, the next time, which was the end of March, that we were going to south Louisiana, we decided to stay at Bally’s because The Vintage was there. We arrived early, but the hostess kindly seated us anyway. This is our experience in a nutshell: we have spent double the money we did that night at other restaurants and walked away sorely disappointed, but we had one of the most enjoyable meals we’ve ever had at The Vintage. Let me just say Ricky is a master bartender. Our drinks were wonderful. He makes simply the best Manhattan I’ve ever had, and he was even kind enough to write his secret down so that I can make them at home! We were fortunate enough to have James as our server. He was perfect! He let us go at our own pace, he was attentive, and he was extremely funny! Now, for the food. My wife NEVER orders steak out because she doesn’t think anyone cooks steak as well as I do. Let me tell you. She has RAVED about her filet to anyone who will listen! My ribeye was incredible! No, this is not an inexpensive steak restaurant, but it is one of the best experiences you will ever have. I promise! We can’t wait to make another stop at The Vintage on our way to south Louisiana! I wish I had taken pictures, but we were too busy eating.

We had a great evening. The service was great and the food was delicious. A little disappointed they did not do anything special for my wife’s birthday even though I had let them know ahead of time.

Tonight was our second time to dine here this year and let me say both times the food and service were over the top! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and were absolutely delicious! Tonight our waiter was Ben and he was EXCEPTIONAL! We will definitely be requesting him as our waiter the next time we go. Be sure and try the butter cake for dessert as it will not disappoint but you will probably want to share it. It is huge and very rich!

Said this on the main review of the hotel….Logan’s Roadhouse quality at Bob’s Steakhouse prices. Dry overdone steaks, bland entrees. The bread was the only good experience.
